(No Escape Records)
Release date: 2003
Running time: ...

Review: This is relentless australian grindcore at its best, fucking tight with abrasive screaming and shrieking vocals, flesh-ripping riffs, fast assaultive drumming and monstrous intensity... Ok, it's quite a bit different from the band's previous releases, especially the sound production which is alot clearer (don't worry though it's still raw as hell!), and the thrashing guitar riffs which are much more controlled and intricate. Anyway, this is still uncompromising and ultraviolent grind with excellent chemistry and timing, the type of grind where every listening is energy-draining... Songs are all strictly speed-driven, always swiftly moving forward, with constant tempo-changes and snappy breaks but at the time kept to basic structures/stripped of any unnecessary parts, just pure sonic aggression; freaking concise and expeditious ... The cover of Napalm Death's song "The Kill" from which the band borrowed the name is a very nice treat too. The cd's running time is short but so fucking intense, it has alot more impact than any long length albums I'm hearing... Oh and The Exorcist movie still is just perfect for this record instilling pure negativity at its simple sight! I'm a bit sad this is a posthumous release because The Kill was one of the most promising grind bands I've heard in many years! Needless to say, this one is an absolute must-have!
