ROTT-FISH/HERMIT Split Tape

(AMA Distro - AMA 002)
Release date: 2001

Rott-Fish Review:
Very relaxed Grind/Noise/Funcore from Turkey! It's fruity and also pissed off when they feel like it. They improved alot since the first tape I've heard. The fun parts still have a funny Muggles/C.S.SO./Scrawl feel to them that's great when it's rythmic rock stuff. I thought the grind-noise parts were better than ever, very intense, heavier than usual, with an old Anal Cunt/Pile of Eggs vibe that's always great. The grind-noise thing is my fave part of Rott-Fish, I wish they were more of them. Rott-Fish is not very rigorous, they have more of a punk way to play their stuff but they make brilliant Grind-Noise.
Tracks: 1) Noiseleague 2)Imamoglu Distro 3)Coke Addict 4)Turkish Bride 5)The Man Who Hates His Band 6)Suicide Online 7)Random 8)Hugo Pt1 9)Alemlerin kraliyim, punk'in allahiyim... 10)Random 11)Can yeter!!!
12)Ne? Kim? Nasil?

Hermit Review: Hermit is hilarious Noise stuff from Prague. It's basicly violin scratches, cheap electronics, weird voices and noises. It's just definitely unconventional noise. Hard to say tons about it, it's just fun and bizarre and very few people will wanna play it more than once. The last 2 songs are the best.
Tracks: 1)Hippies are knocking on the door 2)Fucking the beat generation 3)Evil Sound Installation.

ROTT-FISH "digitised LOVE" Tape

Release date: 2001

Review: That's a turkish band mixing weird Grind/Noise and heartfelt pop guitars. It works pretty good, most of the time, the first song especially, is really catchy, just alot of fun. After a couple of songs I thought some of the pop riffs were a bit too repetitive, but it's alot more diverse than your average Grind/Noise band anyway. It's original, a little spazzy but quite fresh. More midtempo than fullspeed, with whacky screamy vocals, alot of chaos and stuff... The sound is definitely rehearsal-style, but it's pretty clear. It doesn't have the musical chemistry of bands like Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ or Scrawl which are well-organised... Rott-Fish is more of the messy kind, in the vein of Muggles (Belgium), and Grind/Noise bands like Cornucopia (Belgium) and Frankensperm/Gronibard (on their first tapes). I realise that these references may be a little obscure, whatever, these are the ones that sprung to my mind... It's not the most amazing band ever, but it's just great fun, very simple, catchy & insane.
Tracks: 1)Gözlerin Maviydi... 2)This is just another love song 3)Digitised love 4)Sabun Köpügü 5)Little child of the sun 6)Bitch 7)FESÜPHANALLAH!!!

REGURGITATE "Concrete human torture" Demo Tape

  Release date: 1994

Review: If you're a grindcore hound, I hope you already heard about the godly swedish band, Regurgitate. For me, this demo is a grindcore masterpiece! If you know the RGTE debut album("Effortless regurgitation of bright red blood"), this demo is exactly in the same vein, I'd even say that... it's better! Sound is very good(not as good as on the cd, ok, but far above the average anyway!), songs are short, fast, brutal, catchy, very well-composed and very well-played... Rikard's vocals are sickly distorted with a harmonizer and litterally wrench guts... Guitar riffs always provide amazing sensations; like fear, bitterness, hatred or death. Everything is just perfect. Perhaps the best music I have ever heard... The global running time is very short, but "Concrete human torture" is very intense... The only reproach is about the vocals which are too weak in the mix, and quite hard to really hear... The news about "Concrete human torture" is that Regurgitate guys are planning on releasing it as a mcd! with new artwork etc... And man, I really eagerly wait for this re-release!
Tracks: 1)Basic autopsy procedure 2)Phrenetic chainsaw slaughter of a crippled infant 3)Revel in menstrual excrements 4)Uncontrolled anus violation 5)Drugged, raped and excreted... 6)Self-dismembered foetus 7)Bloodsplattered wideopen abdomen 8)Deranged menarche injection 9)Bludgeoned to death 10)Drastical decapitation of a raped infant 11)Forced abortion through the rectum 12)Maiming the defenceless 13)Bloody ejaculation 14)Coprophagial mutilator 15)A putrid reek of the decomposed embryos 16)Putrefactive bowel consumer 17)Frenzy faecal munching

RUNNING GUTS "They know that you know" Demo Tape

  Release date: 1998

Review: Really great french band. I know that lots of grinders don't like this tape! But I like it! This is funny and bizarre cyber indus grind. Gurgling voices, sampled bass lines, kill craze drum machines and techno beats really refreshing deathgrind style. Coming with a really funny concept about aliens, abduction and flying saucers attacks!(haha) and a very cool special hand made packaging limited to the 200 first copies... This is not goregrind but its still good I think!
Tracks: 1)Abducted & decomposed 2)Trouble on the planet earth 3)Just believe 4)They know that you know 5)Dead(N.D.) 6)Running guts(Jungle mix) 7)Last screams before going back

RUNNING GUTS demo tape (1996)

(3 way split with HAEMORRHAGE, CLOTTED SYMMETRIC SEXUAL ORGANS & DEAD INFECTION)
Release date:
1996

Review: Did you know that Nicolas(only member of Running Guts) played with Melek-Tha, a ritual/death/indus band before that? Anyway, this demo is actually into totally insane cyber gore/grind/noise! Drums(electronic) are fast, vocals loathing harmonized gurgles, guitars some pure noisy thrash! sometimes it really turn to industrial/noise, but this is really brutal and gory industrial noise! Far better than the second demo, with fantastic hand-made collector packaging! and macabre sense of humour through song titles like "Party in the grave" or "Chainsaw solution"... Running time is long enough to fully enjoy the shit! (about 25 minutes)... This demo is now quite hard to find I think... but try to write to the addesses below for more info...
Tracks: 1)Party in the grave 2)Butchered in factory 3)Chainsaw solution 4)Psycho mutant 5)Mutation inside 6)Infected by vomit 7)Rotting surgery 8)Normal suffering 9)Pain 10)Pain 11)Skeleton village 12)We're destroying
