Review: Spanish grind-noise at its best. Original gory song title giving the gory touch (the originality is that they're in spanish). There are also loads of disgusting intros, borrowed from splatter/gore movies, or course in spanish language. The first one is from Bad Taste... Check it out! Sounds funny in spanish! 46 tracks of good grind-noise, okay sound production for the genre, a professional tape and glossy cover! (This is a re-release by Ironia records). Main musical influence is probably Anal Cunt, with gore instead of fun! But always fucking noisy and real short tracks! Includes ANAL CUNT, 7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA & GUT cover version... If you mix these 3 bands and turn all that is song titles, intros in spanish, you'll get MACHETAZO and this first demo tape! worth being checked out because it's great quality grind-noise, the tape is well made, and the running time is long enough for you to have eardrums bashed in.

Review: Arrrrgh!! the czech scene is so great !! This tape is fucking great! GRIND/MINCE fucking CORE at its best. There is no need to present these bands, you must already have listen to them, if not, what the fuck your waiting for! I still wonder how they manage to make such catchy music. Shindy productions did a very good work with this tape (pro tape, great print quality on RECYCLED PAPER!! fucking great attitude!). Get your hands on it coz it 's one of my favourite tapes.

MORTALIZED "Satanic Serial Murders" Tape

Review: Ultrafast blasting brutal death-grind from Japan. Guitar riffing is effective and proficient, delivered with speed and technicity, with some mindblowing thrashings and a few insane solo's too... Angry growling and some very high pitched screaming, very tight blasting and bouncing drumming. None of the tracks are exactly memorable but they do crush! It reminds me of the old Vader demo's with more of a grinding Terrorizer-type speed and some additional screaming fury. Cool stuff, it seems like this yet another totally tight and musically irreproachable band from Japan! I'm guessing this is a promo tape as it contains various recordings, sound production varies but this is mostly just very nice and heavy...

NEUROPATHIA "Promodemo '98"

Review: Neuropathia is a polish band; from the same city as Dead Infection & Squash Bowels. Curiously, they also play brutal, sick & extravagant GORE-GRIND! This promo tape contains 8 tracks including wonderful cover versions of GUT ("Sperminator") & REGURGITATE ("Disgorging foetus"). They style is powerful, but still really raw in the same time. You can feel they have a very heavy and intense force on this tape. Guitars are like a thrashy, noisy fog, supported by fast, rythmic, catchy, tight drums. Then, the vocals make the true difference... They are harmonized and distorted beyond sanity - in a putrid and gut-wrenching way - This kind of vocals is still too rare these days. This is the main reason why I especially LOVE This tape. Neuropathia is very exciting and fresh here... I eagerly look forward to listen to their other releases!

PULMONARY FIBROSIS "Songs of Pathological Experience"

Review: Pulmonary Fibrosis is a threatening gore-grind-noise band from France. They deliver quite good noisy and messy songs in the vein of Last Days of Humanity and even Anal Birth at times. Very brutal, insane, raw and obscure. Song structures are very basic, and sometimes totally messy. With distorted vocals, lots of splattery gurgling effects and tons of disgusting intros(but not very interesting, these are intros you heard a million times). The sound is very undergroundy and do-it-yourself (very raw) but gore-grind-noise freaks should not be disappointed. It's quite good and gory. You'll also find interesting cover versions of Anal Cunt and Malignant tumour. So, just check it out, if you just want some cool new blood-spewing noise. Review: The worst, really worst french bands gathered in one and only tape! All these 4 bands are incredibly vulgar, grotesque and sound terrible! The first featured band is Putride Defecation, playing talentless grind-noise, noisy unbearable grind, all catchy attempts fall to the ground, because they intersect all their songs with french pop/tv crap music, it lasts 20 minutes, and it's really boring! The second band on the tape is Infected Pussy and like their previous releases, they once again give us indisgest noise-grind with tons of boring introductions from crappy french TV advertisements! Song titles are even more stupid and futile than whenever in the past! If you're not out of breath, here you can turn the side! At last you will discover something listenable, and.... funny! This is Gronibard! Good grind-fun-core, quite heavy and noisy, with lots of obscene humour too, but less indigest than the other bands featuring on this split tape! It's funny! Well, at least if you're french... Intros are in french and well made in my mind! This is also the best Gronibard material so far! Compositions are often catchy, heavy, short and fast, with gurgling/screaming/grunting vocals... This is only good point of this split! To close the tape, we have Carnac Attack, a very strange band! It's Noisecore, and believe me it's noisy, noisy but not catchy or structured really! Some strange intros too! If sickening outrageous retard grind-noise and frenchy bad taste is your cup of tea, try to get this indigest tape!
