IMPETIGO "Faceless"
(Wild Rags Records)
Release date: 1992
Review: This ep is really great... it consists in 2 unreleased tracks and 3 other tracks(my favorites) from Impetigo's first album "Ultimo Mondo Cannibale" through different versions. It sounds in the vein of the first album... then it's a perfection in sickness! The very personal Impetigo style: death-grinding gorecore in its finest form... with some terrific interludes between songs and all.... Should be re-released somedays on cd-format! So watch out!
Tracks: 1)Sinister Urge 2)Faceless 3)Dis-Organ-ized 4)Bloody Pit of Horror 5)Mortado

INCARRION "View of the sufferers"
Release date: 1999
Review: This demo only features 3 songs, but it wickedly blown me away. The guys handle their instruments with impressive ease, their songs are surging, driven to insanity, each guitar riff rips unto your flesh, with breathrough of speed-crazed thrashings and eerie bass chords; so damn fast, and still never falling into confusion. Drum work is an articulation of devastating blastings, fast beatings; rythms are very nervous, not blasting on the length; it's brutal death metal, not grindcore; but the drumming is extremely brutal, catchy, as well as very skilful, with a fucking tight sound... The relentless poundings continue to strike in your brain long time after the tape is over. The vocals are in the average brutal death metal style, but very well performed too, not very deep, but although full of painfully growled rage. Some backing screaming/whispering backing vocals which also bring lots of strength! Freaks of brutal death metal played with a great technical knowledge and a resolute perception of musical brutality. Fans of bands like Suffocation, Vomit Remnants, Cryptopsy or Nile. Keep an eye wide open on this fine brutal death metal band's future projects; especially their debut cd out soon.
Tracks: 1)Untangled from the flesh 2)Maggots in evidence 3)Skeffington's gyves

INHUME Tape 97
Release date: 1997
Review: The latest INHUME demo tape... They are from Holland, and play grindcore with touches of brutal death metal; with a perfect sound production!!! Definitely one of my very very favourite today's death/grind bands!!! They sound really fantastic! Their line up composed of 2 growlers, 2 guitarists, 1 bass player and above all a grreeeaaatt blast beating drummer! They are amazing grind musicians, all their songs are blazing, fast-as-light and literally smashing down any brain!!! But it never gets confused, or noisy, everything is very clear and you hear all the instruments tearing through your brain. The vocals are also sumptuously growled and screamed beyond sanity... A perfect artwork, a perfect sound production... A perfect band! A perfect demo tape!
Tracks: 1)Blood, sperm, shit 2)Gargling guts 3)Airplane crash 4)Human fucking guinea-pig 5)Cadaverous abortion 6)Dead man walking 7)Destructive impulse 8)Schizophrenic pulp 9)Trapped in darkness

"International Noise Propaganda" BEER VOMIT/ANALSCOPE RECTAL SPECULUM/NAPALMED/STRESS RELATED
(Putrid Nausea Productions)
Release date: 2000
Beer Vomit Review: Your usual frenchy fun-grind-noise-core. Funny silly intros, short ultraviolent and obscure Anal Cunt/Meatshits larsen ridden grind-noise with messy drums, bad guitar riffs, drooling growls and absurd screams... Just fun!
Analscope Rectal Speculum Review: "fetus grinding noise!" Yep, kinda good sonic intense grind-noise stuff. Flashing violent noisecore-grind short songs interspaced by little intros. In the "Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage" vein. Very intense and grinding with demented effect vocals. Sound is not always very good, with a very 'do it yourself' feel, but it's really offending and aggressive anyway. Like it.

Napalmed: Noise, noise, noise & noise. Just noise, no guitars, no drums. Just cold, industrial sound. Very experimental and totally dehumanized. So I kinda like it, but to use as atmospheric cyber-nihilistic soundtrack. (Could be the music for Tetsuo movies) Napalmed is quite known in the czech scene, (for its noise!) and already a couple of releases out, all in the same genre I think. Kinda depressing on the length, but very good for me anyway.

Stress Related: I had hard time to know where Napalmed stops and where Stress Related begins. If I heard right (really not sure at all) Stress Related went introverted indusnoise like Napalmed on this one. Very harsh and also industrial and cold. It's weird considering other S.R. stuffs are definitely grindcore forward..

INTERVALLE BIZARRE Promo 99
Release date: 1999
Review: You probably already know many of the great, sick, brutal bands that czech republic has to offer! But maybe you missed this great 4-piece group? They're named Intervalle Bizarre and they skilfully handle brutal death metal style, with high technical competences. The song structures are truly complex and ingenious; but the whole thing remains distinctly raw, straightforward and aggressive: the vocals are growled without any limit, with lots of guttural variations(no effects), and the backing screamy squeaks support them in a violently insane way. This also always stays exciting because of the everlasting grindy, blastbeating drums, the thrashing, technical, swift guitar riffs & the smooth bass' streams... This could be compared to Suffocation on "Breeding the spawn", but I.B. is far more fast, hot and fusing! The sound production is almost perfect and the result is very positive! These 3 tracks were enough to make me very excited. Lyrics also seem to be painful and gory... I recommend to everyone into well-played grinding death metal to catch anything from Intervalle Bizarre quickly! (check the exploding head from "Dawn of the dead" on the cover!)
Tracks: 1)Past blossom flesh 2)Abortion by the muriatic acid 3)Raped

INTESTINAL INFECTION/PACKRATTEN Split tape
Review: Argh! 2 german bands. Both really grindy and noisy. Packratten(21 tracks) is grind with nice raw heavy grindy guitar sound like old Agathocles, (they even play a "Chritianity means tyranny" cover version), vocals are dirty, screamy and sometimes brutally growled, there is also a big sleazy hardcore part into their style. Their songs have structures, but it often turns up very messy. Not always ultra-fast, but always very aggressive. Noise freaks who enjoy headaches should appreciate. Only live recordings, from different gigs, so the sound quality varies along the tape, but it's always listenable. Intestinal Infection(about 62 tracks) is really more noise-grind oriented, just damn insane. Quite short songs, drum blasts, grind riffs, harsh pig growls and screams... No song structures really, just a bestial disgorgement of itching grind-noise delirium. A horripilating messy musical carnage. If you're in a good humour, you won't anymore after listening this split tape. So, Noise freaks try to get this soon!
