DEAD INFECTION/INFECTED PUSSY

  (Necrophil production)
Release date: 1997
Dead Infection Side: Dead infection side is long and noisy, it comes with about 20 live tracks and honestly, a bad sound quality... but still awesome extreme grind... A full colour cover but no tracks list is included! I couldn't recognize every song. There is new material, songs from "A chapter of accidents", nearly nothing from "Surgical Disembowelment" album... Lots of cover (Carcass, Ulcerous phlegm, Extreme Noise Terror, Napalm Death & others...). But again, very noisy! Nothing overly interesting, except that this is Dead Infection tape! (a really good reason to get it in my mind)  Infected Pussy Side: About Infected Pussy? They are from France and play grind/noise, with short songs, very good songs... In the early ANAL CUNT way. The only difference is the (ab)use of really badly chosen, stupid intros, from the worst french TV advertisement, or from movies such Gremlins 2... or from real stupid TV series("Married, with children")... It's quite funny in the beginning but when the intro is longer than the song itself (when running time is 10 seconds...) It sucks! As well, idiot song titles like ""Pecknos playing petanke out side" or & "An ovni in your cunt"... You'll only like it, if you have sense of humour! Tape limited to 200 copies, a cult item! But nothing really interesting in matter of musick really...

DEMONIC ORGY "Sport vomiting"

Review:
Another excellent grindcore band from US. They're into usual sick sick silly sleazy porno-gore fun. Their style is definitely basic, violent grind, in a raw, straightforward way. A bit in the vein of Scumbitch or Dismembered Fetus. This band is really good at what they do, noisy and catchy. They have a shitty raw sound, and it gives it a bonus charming touch I think. Anyway this kind of band doesn't need big budgetted sound production, they're so intense it just rips you apart anytime. This tape is excellent, the flaw is that it's damn short. Definitely not for people into clear sounding stuff or technical music. It's just plain raw grind goodness and it rocks!
Tracks: 1)Cock smooch 2)Dumped in a sewer 3)Booze fueled boners 4)Vurst her bleeder valve 5)Show us your tits 6)Smegula ??? 7)Stomp ??? 8)??? 9)Semen

DESECRATOR "Postnatal degeneration"

  PPE 001
Release date: 1997

Review:
Crushing death(grind) from France, there are raw vocals, extreme blast beats(drums machine), aggressive and noisy guitars... it is simply grinding your ears! sound is not so bad (but saturating sometimes), and there's a real cool full color cover sheet with terrifying pictures of deformations, starving children, nuclear mushrooms and fist fuckings! (on first copies) The bad point:, that's too fucking short!!!
Tracks: 1)Post Natal Degeneration 2)Life control 3)Venom 4)Headless corpse 5)Permanent diarrhoea 6)Grinding machine

DESPERATOR "Devil in these guys!"

Release date: 1999

Review:
A new demo for Desperator, really excellent. Just skilful, clean grindcore, brilliantly controlled and musically, very interesting. The sound is clear and heavy on every instruments as well as on vocals. Their spirit, the admirable composition work and the sound are close to other swedish grind bands like Birdflesh, Nasum or like some of the bands who signed a contract with Relapse Records(the devil?), like Benumb & co. I think Desperator is at least as interesting as them, so watch out. The 5 songs there are constructed on midtempos, a good dose of blasts, mostly fast rythms but also on some rock n' roll and groovy parts (especially for the last song "Take my breast away", which is the most moderate of all the tracks there). The drumming is strong and tight, still managed with considerable rythmic variety, and always a grindy feeling to it. Good complementary guitar and bass work, with first choice noteworthy grind/hardcore/metal riffs, it's kinda melodic, but very thick, heavy and catchy in the same time. The good handling of all the instruments furnishes a great fluidity to the songs, and a confortable feeling to the basic listener who is fond of good grind. Powerful vocals spice the whole recording, and manic screams take turns with lower rough roars. The high pitched voices can maybe show some black metalish intonations, together with the most melodic guitar chords, but Desperator is definitely incribed in a grindcore crenel; with relatively short tracks, boosted with fastness, nothing to do with black, really! The song titles and the spirit seems to have some connections with a certain kind of, humour. As well as the artwork, which is a rip off of the infant carcass drawing from the famous second Cannibal Corpse album, "Butchered at birth"... they added little horns to them, and some more things... The demo title "Devil in these guys!" should be a game of words on "Devil in disguise" if I'm not wrong. So, you see, there's a nice funny mood, and it's a delight for the ears. But I'm although terribly sad, coz this is too fucking short!!! I already rewinded the tape 10 times or more and I only received it this morning! Well please support this band, I would be glad to hear more from them in the future...
Tracks: 1)Wombdead 2)I scratch your crach if you scratch mine 3)French crotch dog 4)Mariah Carries a cosmetic bag and Whitney use tons of make-up 5)Take my breast away

DESPERATOR "GRINDacCOREdion"

Release date: 1998

Review: I must tell you I never heard anything from this band before they send me their demo! And I've been surprised when I listened to it! Surprised in a good way of course! Sound is amazingly perfect! Crystal clear! All their songs are fast-as-light, with razor sharp guitar riffs, blasting drums... and really raw, high pitched or hardcore-influenced vocals, (don't expect any growls!)... This can be called grindcore, but a big hardcore/punk/metal spirit can be feeled, even if the rythms are always kept at ultrafast cadence! Desperator is fresh, thrashy, original, catchy, fast... Never boring, and always striking, with some original parts... This demo tape is recommended to listeners of more hardcore-metal oriented material... If you're into total gore-grind-noise filthy style maybe you can not like it... Anyway, it comes with perfect sound production and great colour cover! See contact below and get in touch with Desperator!
Tracks:
1)Get down on your niece 2)I put my foot on Uranus 3)Alcohol and whores 4)Will pork for food 5)Chritian fux 6)Michael jack's off 7)Bite the pillow darling

DISCONTROL "(Neanderthal crust - the primitive way)"

  (Putrid Nausea Productions)
Release date: 2000

Review:
it's been along time I haven't listened to good ol' crustcore! And this band's really good in the genre. Their crust style is pretty standard, but by no means boring. It's raw and fast-paced. Reminds me of old stuffs like Mob 47, Asocial, Svart Parad and all those Dis-bands (you know, all those Discharge clones) which I am totally into. This tape has two sides full of crushing mid-tempos, fucking raw guitars, and drunken vocals... Crust may always sound the same, but it's always so enjoyable and you always know what to expect. This tape is filled to the brim with various recordings, live stuffs, maybe rehearsals etc... It's a damn good crust good tape. A bit unusual for Putrid Nausea, anyway buy it and keep this cool DIY label business going!

D.O.D. "Chaos World" Tape

Release date: 2004

Review:
Obscure tape... What does D.O.D. stands for? A sticker inside the tape says "Department of Defence" and another one says "Disciples of Darkness"... So who knows? Musically, this is bizarre, harsh and raw extreme sludge/noisecore/grind... Sound is muddy, lo-fi rehearsal recording-style, guitars have an extremely filthy sound but riffs are still played in a thrashing metal way, vocals are oversaturating shrieks, drumming is pretty tight but the whole thing remains quite chaotic... the tape alternates between moments of sheer musical violence and calmer sludgy doom stuff... Pretty experimental and trippy sounding stuff for sure. Reminds me of Sloth and also perhaps lofi grind/noise stuff like CSMD...

Tracks: 1)Animal Auschwitz 2)In the name of the holy disciples of darkness 3)Never trust a punk 4)Doomsday 5)the ballad of Pim 4tuin 6)Horns 7)The believer 8)3 musketeers of the devil 9)Concept of greed & pain 10)Blink 1&2

DOWNTHROAT "I've got my mothers eyes"

Release date: 1999

Review:
This demo is very satisfying; It features downright catchy gore-grind songs with good sound production, and enough attractive grind-power to go through the tape without really getting bored. Everything's rather fast and, wow, damn brutal; but sort of death-metalish too, a little in Carcass "Symphonies of sickness"-period vein (I mean that songs have a death-metallish side, not only blasts & relentless fastness). The lead vocals are distorted with excellent low-pitched harmonized effects, and mixed with some manic backing screams. Remind me of Carcass, Haemorrhage, and... Flesh Grinder too. It's well played, songs work fine; It's honestly really decent gore-grind! One thing, though... there are a few (but really just a few) funny parts that do not fit in so well, I think they should simply be removed. I also wish the band didn't use intro samples (from movies like Scream or Halloween...), because they're unnecessary. These tracks are good enough to work without intros. The artwork/lyrics could be better too... it's good ol' gore stuff, but not outstanding nor reall original. The final score is 6 flesh-ripping studio songs on tape and a pro-done cover. I suppose Gore freaks should love this. (Sorry I don't have Downthroat guys email address right here! and I'm not aware of the ordering infos... write me if you know)
Tracks: 1)Decomposed, tortured, devoured 2)Insane cannibal desire 3)Bloody dream 4)The hunter 5)Blow up to pieces 6)Ulceral abdominal decomposer

DYSMENORRHEIC HEMORRHAGE/GYNOPHAGIA Split Tape

Release date: 2000

D.H. Review:
This tape has many songs, alot of downright scary down-tuned grind riffs, nauseous vocal effects vocals, kick-ass drum-machine drums, basic grindcore song structures à la Regurgitate/Agathocles/Malignant Tumour/Dead Infection etc etc... So, wow! This is great! Super even! I mean really, Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage does some of the best Goregrind stuff these days, it's got that rare savage grind vibe and the shitload of tight grind hits coming blasting at your face. There's a very good Terrorizer cover too. Oh well, I just plain stupid but I truly think DH's just awesome. http://listen.to/d-h

Tracks: 1)Introduction: Beyond Murder 2)Automatic Fetal Termination 3)Maggoty Duodenal Termination 4)Humiliated Corpse 5)Sleep in my Innards 6)Deglutition of Limb Pulp 7)Bile in the Sink 8)Absence of Uterus 9)Human Debris 10)Plagued... 11)Carnal Rigor 12)Effluvium in the Closet 13)Gaping anatomical fissure 14)Sado-sexual colon desecrator 15)Dysfunctions of the Meatus 16)Erotic stabbings 17)Acidic arterial blood 18)Five skinned teenage campers 19)Infestation (Terrorizer) 20)Egesting the Viscus 21)Kitchen table general surgery 22) Neonaral incision procedure 23)Cadaveric uterine damage 24)La fame del Camminare Morto 25)Dead Body exploitation 26)Extensive artificial fistula 27)Pyemesis 28)Unyielding the tormentor 29)Bodies in the Chapel

Gynophagia Review: Nice cybergore stuff (think S.M.E.S. and maybe Meatpaunch Mafia). Funny computery chords, cyberblasts and gurgling vocal effects growls. The key elements seem to be repetition, Inspector Gadget melodies, bizarre samples and infernal gore gore weirdness. Silly genital-related song titles, sickness, gore and a whole lot of other stuffs like that... That's about it!

Tracks: 1)Reproductive organ seasoning 2)Post-natal ingestion 3)Tomb of the butterfly 4)Dead feces 5)Spermatose 6)Surgical misogyny 7)Infant gristle 8)Contagious sperm 9)Vaginal dietician (Gynovore) 10)Slutrazor (Deviant Freestyle mix) 11)Cobwebs of the Cunt

DYSMENORRHEIC HEMORRHAGE/SAVAGE MAN SAVAGE BEAST Split Tape

Release date: 2000

D.H. Review:
This stuff is grind with gore in it and also grind and more gore. It has down-tuned grind riffs that sound way grind, gory vocal effects that sound way gore, and a groovy drum machine that sounds like the Agathocles drummer if he was a robot. The kind of Goregrind that's cool. It even has some kind of Fulci intro. And to just put this damn review to rest, this stuff just leaves me speechless, end of line.

http://listen.to/d-h

Tracks: 22 tracks or something like that...

Savage Man Savage Beast Review: Oh well, I reviewed Savage Man Savage Beast many times. I said and I'll say it again, this stuff totally rules. Some of the best cybergrind ever, stuff like old Gore Beyond Necropsy/Catasexual Urge Motivation... The most hysterical humor ever and alot more... This tape has some songs that are also on my Braindead 3 way split w/ Microphallus/Blue Holocaust. But for most of the songs here, you won't find em anywhere else and they're all little grind gems. Proctophobia definitely has the best grind tapes around! http://fullspeed.to/smsb

Tracks: Many many songs, maby 30 or something I don't have the track list here.

DYSMENORRHEIC HEMORRHAGE "Killenium" Tape

Release date: 2000
Review: I'm not sure this tape's material featured on the other DH tape I reviewed, I don't completely trust my ears... Anyway, this DIY band represents everything I like to hear. When I'm sick of metal bands and big labels, I listen to stuff like that and I feel a lot better! This is true grind/noise that stomps, grinds, chews, spits, blasts, excretes and regurgitates. It's totally raw, the sound is fucking filthy and it's the thing that makes Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage so great! One of the only crap that can really clean my dirty brain! For the description, it's mostly drum machine blasting grind-noise with gore gore pitch-shited vocals and darn noise spewing guitar vomit. It sounds really terrifying and dehumanized. Just wanna say Kudos to DH! One of the better noise blasters around these days... This tape was put out on Tasteless Shit Records, not active anymore. DYSMENORRHEIC HEMORRHAGE "Advance tracks 2000" Tape

Release date: 2000
Review: This tape is a blast to me. I heard people say US have a shitty grind scene. But even if bands like Scumbitch or this one, Dysmenorrhoeic Haemorrhage have definitely obnoxious, negative lyrical content or image, their music is straightforwardly grind oriented & excellent. I'd classify D.H. more into raw Grind/Gore/Noisecore style; it's a one-piece project into devastating ultraviolent stuff. Songs are all quite short, with basic grindcore guitar riffs, blasting drum machine and sickeningly distorted gory vocals. This is some kind of promo tape, with a whole lot of compiled tracks. There are songs more catchy than others sure, but the musical carnage is never ending, some songs turn into total noisecore, but others who have more structure definitely kick ass. I loved it and you should give this band a try too. This tape compiles stuff soon to be released as: splits with Kamala, Gut Puking Motherfuckers and Gross. So; watch out. If you think D.H. logo sucks, send complaints to me, because I personally did it...
