Review: The truth is that this Beer Vomit band is one of the best french noise-grind band around. Noise-wise and frenchystupidity-wise they rank here in the tops of the charts of France's leaders of grindnoise scene, with crazy fucks like Infected Pussy, Gronibard, Frankensperm. I think french noise-grind fucks are the best worldwide in terms of bad taste. So Beer Vomit is: Brutal, messy, grindy, noisy, raw... gorged with grotesque growls, painful screams, larsens, dirty bass rashes, bloody ante-technical guitar mess, ominous drumming raids... and best of all, fucking lame intros, taken from the stupiest french tv-programs or tv-advertisements you can ever think of... Ugliness, bestiality, idiocy, beer-soaked noise are all the special elements that makes this demo a true hit in the genre. Every alcoholic mentally deficient person around here should get a copy of this true noise-grind masterpiece.

Review: Here we have exciting jap Gore/Grindcore/Death Metal... formed by at least one Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ member that I know of. The first 3 songs on this promo demo tape are recorded live, the sound is pretty amazing for a live recording though. The guitar is totally down-tuned and the riffs are between basic grindcore stuff and groovy old school swedish death metal, the drumming is damn impressive, very tight, with kick-ass midtempos and fast blasts, expect awesome expert drumming! The vocals are pretty fun and savage, a little reminiscent of old C.S.S.O. with alot of screaming, and a whole lot of gory pitch-shifting vocal effects! The result is a highly interesting mix of Gore/grind and old school Death Metal. In the vein of Dead (Germany), Gut, old Carcass & General Surgery. The rest of the tracks on this tape are earlier studio material (95/96), I'd say this sounds alot more like straightforward gore/grindcore à la Retaliation/Regurgitate, only more chaotic, with messy hysterical shrieks and sickening vocal effect extravaganza!! I think this band sounds really terrific, they have a very special, wild grind feel that I'm very fond of, and I can only hope for a full length studio effort in the future. They're looking for labels to release their stuff! Oh, and these guys are wearing gas masks on their live performances, don't ask me why!

Cadaverous Supuration "Suspecting malignant parasites deep inside": Again, a new Cadaverous Suppuration release! Well, in fact they used some of the material from the "Promotape 1999" for this split tape, and added 2 new unreleased tracks. Still in the vein of the previous tapes: gore-death-grind à la early Dead Infection/Pathologist/Carcass... (my favourite musick style). This time they also included many introductions. Most of them from the cool parts of the movie, Fargo.. But this time I think they were a little too long and make the music less intense. Anyway all the songs are stay perfection in sick patho death grind style! The sound is not perfect, but still very powerful. The cover design with surgeons and the wonderful C.S. logo is really well made! Blue & white on glossy paper! Killer first release by promising german label, Putrid Nausea Prod.!!! KILLER!

Skeletonized side "Necromaniac": Ha! The cover is taken from Lucio Fulci's Zombie poster, the best zombie movie ever... So here's a first good point! Skeletonized is a one-member band like Cadaverous Suppuration, but this time the guy comes from the US and plays basic death-grind, with only a bass!!! Drums are programmed but does not sound like a machine! Vocals are very low and deep. The whole thing lacks a bit of velocity, rythm & violence... It's moving too slowly! But it's still a cool little death-grind act; interesting till the end! (not so boring!) The sound is ok and lyrics some traditional "brutal gore" stuff like Cannibal Corpse... you know what I mean! Not something original! But quite raw and brutal! so interesting!

Here's the new best goregrinding sensation from Germany again! Cadaverous Suppuration brings some similarity to Pathologist, early Dead Infection(the first demo, "World full of remains"), Impetigo but has its own cadaverous style/personality and is far more fast and catchy than these bands... This time, vocals are distorted with sick gurgling effects, but always so deep and gut-wrenching; The sound is very good, drums are tight, fast and brutal; with a slight touch of deadly groove... Guitars brings some sickly melodic parts à la early Carcass/Pathologist... 9 very well structured, cold, merciless gore/grind/death tracks with complex medico-hermetic/pathological lyrics(also containing some sick and perverse conotations) and... This is really amazing! Everything have been composed, written and performed by one unique person: 180°! This is only a promo tape, so not for sale(?)... But you can expect the best from Cadaverous Suppuration in the future...

What is CADAVEROUS SUPPURATION? This is a german one-man-band(180°), in total gore/patho/grind/death vein, 4 tracks and some funny intros from movies(Pulp Fiction...). This is a homemade demo, but really well-made grind/gore! The drums sometimes sound a little bad, due to limited sound production, but they are fast & varied, really crushing hard! Some good guitar work, and some bass which give some more heaviness... The vocals are really sick, without effects, but really gurgling and sickneing! In a MALIGNANT TUMOUR, LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY, or even DEAD INFECTION(on the first demo) vocals(!). Some great pathological & gory lyrics. A fucking sick demo, a promising grind name... Review: A professional tape with great cover artwork, great sound production... And, most important, great VIOLENT music! I would describe their style as original, cold and merciless grinding indushardcore, most of vocals are kind of hardcory vocals, reminiscent of good old Slayer singer's screams, when he's angry... a few backing vocals are also very brutal, hateful growls (more of them would have made me very happy) and sometimes some melodic "singing" parts. The cadence is not extremely fast, and their compositions rarely contains blastbeats... But Cardiovascular Sub-Hypothermia(killer band name! ha) songs always stay very rythmic, complex, catchy, dynamic, powerful, energic & aggressive... Many movie samples are used, but most of the time, they are blending with the music (I think I recognized something from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). This tape is recommended to the ones who like original(but straightforward) underground powerviolence! This band from US will have a full length cd out by the end of summer, be sure to check it out too because it will be a bit more intense and grindy (it's what they said!). For now, if you have $2(US/Canada) or $3 DM5(World) in your pocket, do not hesitate and contact CS-H now! Review: You can expect underground grindgore in its sickest form! Gorehunter & 180° (Cadaverous Suppuration) are the forming member in Carnal Shroud. 180° is on drums and always keeps his very own sound. Awesome, wild and raw drum style. I won't lie anymore, this really sound like a faster, more straightforward & catchy version of Cadaverous Suppuration. The vocals are gurgling, something truly sickening (obviously with wonderful effects!). Compositions are worked. This is unique dirty, raw, slimy grind-gore! The cover is also real sick, but maybe too clean, something fithier would be welcome. Same goes for the song titles... This is good gore but still very average gore. Anyway I highly recommend this tape to lovers of macabre, sickening grind!

Carnal Shrould Review: I think you can call this gore-grind! 180° is back with his side-band Carnal Shroud and 13 brand new prodigious, macabre songs (productive guy, but only quality sickness!). The approach of gore-grind here is more simple, straightforward and brutal than in Cadaverous Suppuration. The style is very well handled, you can feel it! Only the absolutely necessary elements to the style are kept. Sharp guitars, barbarous drums(always with a killer raw drum sound!) and nauseous harmonized vocals (wonderful effects!)... You know! All this vulgar display of gore and disgusting grind! I'm sure many of you are always thirsty for this kind of sickness! The sound is pretty good, better than any 180° past releases! An exciting introduction from Peter Jackson's Braindead (aka Dead Alive), the same as the one before Blood Duster's "Vulgar Taste" on Fisting The Dead, but without the background soundtrack! So it worths being checked out! Freaks of Regurgitate and Exulceration are forced to appreciate this!

Tumour Review: This other side is also filled with underground gore-grind! Straightforward gore-grind! A side-band to some Trauma Team guys from Holland. The production is clear, with a pounding raw bass sound and fast jerky brutal blastbeats(programmed drums)! Vocals are extremely harmonized, distorted, really stomach-turning and repulsive! The songs always sound a bit the same way, but well it's more than decent blast gore-grind, so it's not a real problem for me! The songs are wrapped with many interesting and sick introductions. There's also a professional black and white cover. (of course a dead body picture!) Putrid Nausea Productions striked again with honest wonderful shit! Gore-grind freaks, listen to me: get this tape now!!!

Astrum Review: It's cybergrind stuff. Well it's supposed to be. But it's simply basic techno-hardcore stuff with gurgles and growls dubbed over it. I must say I like techno-hardcore very much; it can be the most violent shit ever. But here it's not always really catchy or extremely fast. And they don't use enough grindy guitar samples to sound grindy (on one song song they even use heavy metal riffs... and it's, kinda bad!). So, it's not everybody who can sound like Libido Airbag... Astrum is although catchy at some points, there are some cool ideas and a few brutal structures. But mostly it's lame techno with growls over it.

Stress Related Review: Stress Related (project by prolific Putrid Nausea/Cadaverous Suppuration/Ulcerrhoea guy) is also clearly into cybergrind à la Libido Airbag, but a tad more experimental and violent, and more heavily influenced by early Sore Throat insane stuffs (Think "Disgrace to the corpse of Sid"). It's alot of extreme noise, repetive, unbelievably fast and computerized. Mixed with alot of fun samples and silly synthetiser melodies (sometimes a little too silly!). Songs are all very short and varied, and just all explode right in your face like nailbombs. Vocals are damn harsh and distorted with various totally crazed effects. I personally find this band even better than Libido Airbag (if you skip some of the silly themes). The choices of sound samples is very clever, and song structures are totally crazy and inventive. I love that shit. So if you crave schizophrenic grindcore and new unsettling experiments, do not miss it.

Review: Here we sink into the depths of mental perversion and obsessive murderous violence... 5 trips to unrelenting aggressive madness! If you don't know it yet, C.U.M. plays constructed malignant grind/death with some slow parts, but above all blowing ultrafast beat blastings, orgasmic guitar riffs and absolutely sick squeaking/ejaculating or grunting/raoaring/moaning vocals... Line-up is formed by two japanese killcraze serial killers & a drum machine... with several sadistic intros in GUT way... (one of the intros is from a Texas Chainsaw Massacre trailer). A really enjoyable tape with great production...

Catasexual Urge Motivation "What do you kill for": Five tracks, filled with insensate hatred and sinister ultraviolence. Vocals, drums machine blast beating and frenzy guitars make this as insane and sick as C.U.M. previous releases... These tracks are totally in the vein of their cd "The encyclopedia of serial murder". Brutal and deranged.

Negligent Collateral Collapse Review: Czech scene is huge, but N.C.C. is really a major czech band in my mind, along with Malignant Tumour, they are the best; I think. This tape begins with a beautiful classical music intro, and then, it sounds like 9 or 10 nuclear bombs bursting out in the same time! Real heavy and fast [G-R-I-N-D-C-O-R-E]= brutal brain-pulverizing drumming velocity, senses-numbing vocals growled beyond sanity(without effects), hypnotising low guitar destruction... Possibly in the vein of Agony Conscience; another great czech death/grind band. Some repetitive samples had an little industrial touch... But still everything is very well constructed, not messy grind/noise or stuff no... Sound is really great too.. Comes with a cool concept, about endangered species of animals & track titles like "Gorilla Gorilla Beringei" or "Crocodylus acutus"... Worth checking this out.
