MANGLED TORSOS "Drawing of the Dead"

(Morbid records)
Release date: 1994

Review:
No grindcore here, no really fast stuff, but I'm into this record all the ways... Yeah, this is melodic, slow sometimes... but something really attract me in Mangled Torsos; the sick gut-wrenching extreme vocals in the first place, (gurgles, gruntroars, malignant screamy vox, with some splattering effects too), and then, the great sound... Mangled Torsos is into something you can call death/doom, but everything is played in raw grind spirit I think... A few synthetisers touches from time to time, but nothing really annoying. "Drawing of the dead" is the best of the 2 Mangled Torsos album... Worth checking it out! The best (and fastest) song there is the last one, titled "Dissemble"(really great, ripping song!), a masterpiece in itself.

Tracks: 1)Intro 2)Unsuspecting sacrifice 3)Lost emotion 4)Drawing of the dead 5)Morphea 6)Deranged body love 7)Malignant tumor 8)Dehumanization 9)Dissemble

MANGLED TORSOS "Drawing of the Dead"

(Morbid records)
Release date: 1995

Review:
Second full length album for Mangled Torsos from Germany... Result isn't as good as on first cd... Vocals aren't as sick, music is even more melodic, not as good, but still listenable. There's a good sound production and beautful artwork... nothing else to say about this one really...

Tracks: 1)Intro 2)Godless 3)Insecure feature 4)Everlasting shadows 5)Bleeding years 6)Keep me apart 7)Breach 8)Hold on the past 9)Suffice decration 10)Experience 11)Sick 12)Under control
