Review: This is the latest Libido Airbag release and they're still on top of the electronic-grind foodchain, still probably the most effective entry in the genre. Their style is this bizarre hybrid of catchy techno/jungle and Gut-style sleazy porngrind, a totally putrid and gooey sound with a distorted apocalyptic bass rumbling on the forefront, and insane beats ripping through it. Vocals are also very prominent, weird, twisted, stomach-turning grunts, pitch-shifted and oversaturated. Overall, this is really rythmic and catchy stuff, with some occasional blasting and brutal pounding as well. Sound's really sharp... Everything delivered with outrageous mean-spirited humor, with tv/movie samples nicely utilized into the song structures; you've also got some lavish and deranged artwork/packaging, and I'd say this is a done deal... A killer release in my opinion.

Cock and Ball Torture "Zoophilia" Review: Well. What we have here is goregrindly irreproachable music. Well-thought out compositions, sick repulsive vocals, splatter effects, scary, heavy and basic guitar riffs and tight brutal drums. Just hyper catchy goregrind in a strict german way (Utopie, Mucupurulent, Sanity's Dawn...) This band's brutish porno-sexist image has proven to disgust and displease alot of well spirited people, but I still love their great gut-wrenching music style. Though I'm not so happy that some goregrind bands bring as much controversy as some of those fascist black metal bands, I always prefered to think of goregrind as a whole lot of fun, non-serious goo and mucus. Just a sick, non-sensical and apolitical gory perverted joke...

Libido Airbag "Rosebud Rhapsody" Review: Same sick and ambiguous spirit as CBT but more hardcore techno and groovy beat into the mix. Those compositions are really neat, though not nearly as good as their previous stuff I think (the demos cd). If you don't know it, you'll find alot of neo-techno beat, strangely sampled and manipulated guitar riffs, plus really charming splattery gooey vocals, some of the most disgusting ever in goregrind history. A couple of really catchy, brutal and emotional moments, though a few let-down moments too... on the length, the intensity of their style sounds a little overdone. But well, mostly, Libido Airbag is surprising, groovy, original and gory. With a few interesting sound samples (females into orgasm etc...) that reinforce everything even stronger.

Review: Libido Airbag is a two piece german band, obsessed with pornography and very sick bizarre sex things. They also indulge in a few other nasty habits, like sexism and homophobia... but well, porno bands rarely forget to deal with this shit! Anyway, for the little story, Olli, who played years ago with Gut (the best porno/gore/grind band ever) is one of the two Libido members. This CD contains the 2 Libido Airbag demo tapes, "Unshaved" (tracks 1-12) from 1996 and the demo '95 (tracks 13-22), where new vocals have been recorded... And believe me, the vocals are really sickening! Close to early Gut's vocals: splattery gurgles, harsh grunts, some pissed off squeals and lots of twisted vocal effects... The fact is also that, Libido Airbag is one of the most original band of current grind scene! Rythming their compositions with various, really fast, groovy techno/indus beats, or sharp grind blasts and repetitive, (sampled to the extreme) low-tuned guitar riffs. A great work of powerful grind, filled with weird distortions, tons of well-placed (porn) movie samples and pounding beats... All those 22 tracks are fucking catchy, structured to optimally brutalize listener to death! Some of the most deadly and orgasmic musick ever made. The very personal Libido Airbag touch is those strange electronics and techno sounds mixed to a brutal goregrind style. A tasteful result! Though it's definitely not experimental stuff! Don't worry songs are made to kick asses, and it works for sure! If you like Gut, Mucupurulent, Meat Paunch Mafia (they sound alot like Libido Airbag!) and other groovy twisted grindcore bands of this kind, do not miss this sick 40 minutes cd-album!
