interview #9 with Alexandre of Rot(Brasil)

What
is current line-up? I know it changed lately? Why?
It’s Marcelo-voice
Mendigo-guitar Alexandre-bass-voice Mane-drums.
There was a line up change cause some differences happened.
2)Can
you give some info about your upcoming cd? Why isn't it
released by Morbid recs like "Cruel face of life"cd?
What about the other new releases?
The new CD is
called SOCIOPATHIC BEHAVIOUR (Ecocentric Rcs). No special
reasons , we just believe in the good work of our friend
Matthias & Ecocentric. Our next release will be a Split
CD with Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition, a split EP with
Twisted Truth and a 10" with Depression . I think till
the end of the year everything will be out !
3)What
new lyrics are about? Who writes them?
Our scene , human
behaviour , technology uses, biologic experiments, suicide
... Everybody helps with ideas and some lines and Marcelo put
them in the way for the music
- 4)You
are doing a european tour with Abuso Sonoro very soon.
How is it organized? I know that Rot already toured
in Europe; Isn't it hard and expensive for a not so
well known band(but ok, but well known in grindcore
scene) like yours to tour far from Brasil?
- The tour
is being organized by Danilo & Daniel of Entrails
Masscre and some other support from some friends like
you . Yeah it’s very expensive for us to
go but we are doing what we like and this is what
matters . About being unknown, I really don’t
care ! (ed: my question wasn't really about that, I
don't neither care about bands being known or not)
5)Do
you think being more known in Brasil than in other countries?
Many people come to see your live gigs?
Well
I live in Brasil so is much more easier to spread what I do
around here . Not many people go to our gigs but there’s
a bunch of noise-grind-crust-powerviolence freaks that enjoy
the sound and friendship !
6)I
heard about a Rot cd called "Intense noisecore"(sorry
for this question, at this time I didn't know that this album
was from another band named Rot from Japan...). Can you say
something about it? I also heard about a split 7"ep with
Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition from France. Has it already
been released?
I never
heard about this Intense noisecore CD . If you get 2 copies
save one for me! We are going to make a split CD with Sublime
Cadaveric Decomposition. It will be out till Nov/Dec ! We
delayed to send our stuff !
7)Do
you know some underground grind bands from Brasil that
deserve more attention?
Yeah for
sure !! Here they are : Noise, Industrial Holocaust, No
Prejudice, Die Human Race, Masher, Stupid Patriotism,
Syndrome of Terror, Parental Advisory, Deadmocracy, Stomachal
Corrosion, Stupid Man, Hell Vomit, Plague Rages, Trauma
Acustico, Rotten System, Rotten Anger, Conflito Final and
Mayhem Decay Fudgel . To name some.
8)What
are you doing as job or anything else?
Mendigo
works in a chemical industry. Mane is working with dentist’s
equipment . He fixes them. Alexandre is a camera man and
assistent. Marcelo is unemployed
9)Is
there something important you 'd like to add to end this
little interview?
Thanx to
everyone helping us with the tour and also the oportunity to
spread our ideas and work. Sexism, prejudice and greed must
be out of our scene . Everybody working together helps a lot
. Peace and beer !
