- Hey
Albatard! Can you introduce Gronibard & what the
hell the band is all about?
First
of all, this is not only ALBATARD speaking, but the
whole GRONIBARD team... WHAT!!! You want us to
introduce GRONIBARD!!!! Where???? In your ass
maybe?!? (Na, not there really... -Pierre)
- 2)Did
u hesitate before choosing Gronibard as band
monicker? Who came up with this funny name?
At the
beginning, we wanted t ocall ourselves WEETABIX, then
MOULES IN HEX, but after all we choose GRONIBARD,
which is the ONLY good idea our dummer had in his
pitifull life.
- 3)Do
you only play for fun? or Do you really take the band
seriously? (except about your funny
"lyrical/image" concept) I mean; are you
really motivated to play for upcoming long years?
NO!!!
WE DON'T PLAY ONLY FOR FUN, but only to do you do you
do you St-Tropez (?!?). You will still hear about us
when you will have to wear PAMPERS with lots of
haemorrhoids stuck on your stinky ass.
- 4)What
Gronibard's line up is composed of? Do you all have a
big interest for grind scene in the band? Somes of
you come from other different bands?
GRONIBARD
is composed of 4 sexually deviant agricultors. One
day (Acuvue), we heard a CATERPILLER and we thought:
"WOUAH! This is how our band should sound
like". By the way, GRONIBARD's line up is now:
NATACHATTE 5Drums)/ANAL
CAPONE(Grunts)/ALBATARD(Bass)/NECRONEMBOURG(Guitar
& screams). We are all involved in the
underground grind scene, except our drummer who only
listens to ANAL CUNT 24 hours a day in his bath (he's
a stupid asshole).
- ANAL CAPONE plays(?) in
FRANKENSPERM(Pure noise)/NATACHATTE plays in
ANTAGONY(Death metal/France)/NECRONEMBOURG plays in
another Death metal band and ALBATARD plays Esmeralda
in NOTRE DAME DE PARIS.
- 5)Can
u introduce the first Gronibard's demo tape? are u
fully satisfied with it? & how did you distribute
it (i mean lotz of copies or just a few;)
Our
demo is a bit big to be introduced in your ass... but
we will try if you want (huh... no, don't, i think i
can do that by myself, I'm a big boy-Pierre) .
Satisfied with it?? Well... the problem is that we
haven't listened to it yet... but it seems not that
bad. You can find it every morning on M6 BOUTIQUE for
the incredible price of not much money.
- 6)Who
choosed the funny intros between the songs? Do you
watch TV very much? lots of porn flicks? 2 of the
intros come from Braindead (aka Dead Alive). Do you
have any interest in splatter/gore/horror flicks?
Yes.

- 7)All
the intros are in french. Do you destine your stuff
to french people, more than others. Or is it because
it was easier to find intros in french?
Well,
we firsr thought that we'd sell only 4 copies (our
mummies). As you may have noticed, we are not able to
speak english... but next time you'll find intros in
Togolish.
- 8)Can
we expect good things in the future from Gronibard?

WHAT!!
GOOD THINGS FROM US!!! ARE YOU GAY??? (huh! a real
arsedestroyer! -Pierre) A 4-way split-tape with
INFECTED PUSSY/CARNAK ATTACK and PUTRIDE DEFECATION
is nearly ready, and maybe a split 7" with
ROTTEN CUNT on PORNOGORYFUN Records. Oh! perhaps a
live tape...
- 9)You
also started to play a few live gigs... What can we
expect of one of your shows? Any upcuming live date?
Our
gigs looks (Skywalker) like a PURE SATANIC NOISE CORE
GIG in a BACKSTREET BOYS way. We'll hopefully play on
the 21st of august in HESDIN (FRANCE-62) with
AGATHOCLES/LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY/SUBLIME CADAVERIC
DECOMPOSITION/MINDLAIR/SUPPOSITORY...
- 10)Can
u name some bands who influence your stuff? just for
fun...
Our
influences are: ANAL CUNT (of course), LAROUSSO, LES
FORBANS, NASUM, Johnny HALLYDAY, MORTICIAN, Pascal
SEVRAN, HAEMORRHAGE, MAITE, DAHMER, BEZU, INCANTATION
and of course ABBA.
- 11)It
seems that here in France grind scene is leaded by
true kings of infamous bad taste! I mean Infected
Pussy, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition, Mental
Degeneration Unit... & now Gronibard! What do you
think about these bands? Are you good friend with
them?
En
efecto, pensamos que INFECTADO PUSSIDO y SUBLIMO
CADAVERICO DEECOMPOSICION son muy buenos grupos.
(perfect spanish! -Pierre) But we think that
NECROPHIL is less sexually attractive since he lost
his moustache. MENTAL DEGENERATION UNIT... connais
pas. (it's like Gronibard! -Pierre)
- 12)What
your families & friends think about Gronibard?
They
don't think anything as they're all dead and buried:
