style and tell us when did you form theband? I think we play Brutal Death/Grind. And Death Vomit formally form in April 1995 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. |

you present the line-up, and every members musical
tastes(favourite bands etc...)? The line up now is 5th formation: Agung (vocals), Sofyan (guitars), Arie (bass), Roy (drums). The formation before this: Dede (vocals), Will (guitars), Ary (bass), Roy (drums) is 1st formation. Agung (vocals), Will (guitars), Camel (bass), Roy (drums) is 2nd formation. Agung (vocals), Will (guitars), Wawan (guitars), Camel (bass), Roy (drums) is 3rd formation. Agung (vocals), Wawan (guitars), Camel (bass), Roy (drums) is 4th formation. We have a different fav. bands and different fav. musicians. I like, bands : old Slayer, Testament, old Kreator, Iced Earth, old Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Deeds of Flesh, Death Vomit (of course). musicians : Mille Petrozza, Alex Skolnick, Jesse Pintado, Jon Schaffer (THEY ARE THE GODS !!!!!) I have most influenced from them. They play that nobody can't play it. NOBODY CAN COMPARE WITH THEM !!!!! Roy like, bands : Deeds of Flesh, Disgorge (CA), Devourment, Deprecated, Cryptopsy and old Suffocation. musicians : Igor Cavalera, Donald Tardy, Joey Heaslet Agung like, bands : Dismember (GODS !!!), old Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Devourment, Prophecy, Deeds of Flesh, Monstrosity. musicians : Matti Karki, Chris Barnes, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. you talk about the short demo tape you released? How
did you record it? Doyou have other releases out
except this tape? I released when we have a gig in "Jumenengan Underground" Yogyakarta. We only have 1 release because my album has not finish yet. But we have some single that include in some compilation like : Gelap - Metalik Klinik I (this compilation SUCKS !!!!! we had some trouble with it), December '97; Spirit of Blasphemy - United Underground, Maret '98; Senseless Revenge (live) - Last Minutes of Safety, July '98. |

will feature on it? Can you give us some of the song
titles and the title of the album? Maybe our album will finish in next year. It contains 10 songs of Brutal Death/Grind. I can mention some title of it like : G . B . M, Senseless Revenge, Mental Dissorder Sufferer, Atrocious Behaviour, Victim of Your Lies, Into My Flesh...etc. The title of our album is : ETERNALLY DEPRECATED. |

you write lyrics for your songs? (If yes, What are
they about? and what inspires you to write them?) Yes of course, we have lyrics for our songs. Agung writes them. He writes about demented mind of human race, blasphemy, suicide with the taste of gore. He get the inpiration for his lyrics from his sickest brain and his demented minds. |

you have interest in gory movies? I know there are a
few really nasty indonesian gore movies in existence,
I saw pictures from them... Do you know some? Of course, I like it so much. I like horror movies, gore movies, and blue movies of course. But there is not them in my country. I never meet Indonesia gore movies, Indonesian horror movies... etc. There is only SHIT movies which talk about BULLSHIT. |

best bands, zines, labels from your country...... it
seems underground people ignore alot about it! tell
us everything we have to know about it! I just can tell you my area (Yogyakarta) scene. In Yogyakarta there is not fuckin' slowly music. Most underground band in here play Brutal Death, Grindcore/Goregrind. Some of them play Hard core, Punk...etc. But now we talk about Brutal Death, Grind/Gore. So, if you play slowly shit style, you're a FUCKIN' WEAK LOOSER !!!!! It's better if you run with your FUCKIN' IDIOTS to your mama !!!!! KICK YOUR ASS GODDAMNEDSICKMOTHERFUCKER !!!!! |

know you are preparing a fanzine too, Sofyan! Tell us
what this will contain(what bands interviews etc...),
what is its title, and when do you plan releasing it! My zine's called : STABWOUND. I totally dedicated my zine only for Brutal and Sick music. Not for fuckin' shit else. The band that include in my interview : Disgorge (CA) & (MEX), Deeds of Flesh, Disfigured, Enemy Soil, Lividity, Soils of Fate, Prophecy, Vomit Remnants... etc plus some interview with some brutal bands in Indonesia. And maybe it takes a long time to release it, because I must complete some materials of bands that appear in my zine. Beside that, I'm working in compilation too. It's call SADIST Compilation. The band that appear in my compilation : Deeds of Flesh, Deprecated, Disgorge (CA) & (MEX), Vomit Remnants, Prophecy, Viral Load, Sintury...etc plus some brutal bands from Indonesia. All of songs used by permission of all bands that include in my compilation. It will be out soon. I'll send you a copy of it, if it has finish. |
