Terje! How can you describe Arse Destroyer in a few words?
some words to introduce the band... What mission are you
tring to accomplish?
tom-terje:
we play pre-adolescent punkrokk music for the asian
3rd world mongoloid children. we grew out of generic hardcore
clihe´d scene to start our own scene. we like to fukk shit
up. we like tom´s fukkin men mosh hard in the pit. halfnaked
bigmuscled men moving their bodies & our music is
playing. its hard. it´s fast. it´s hot. it is
arsedestroyer, beibi!!!
When
did the band form back? & Why? Can you sum up some of the
most important points of your carrier? It seems some silent
periods happened during bands lifes course no?
tom-terje:
arsedestroyer started in beginning of ´91 coz we were sick
of the all trends that woz popular then and lack of fast
& noisy garbage shit-bands. i dunno what you mean with
"important points" coz everythings change, iguess
this lineup is what i care about right now. the rest is
history. sometimes it may seems like we haven´t been active
at all yeah that may be right but we´ve been busy with other
shit like doing shows, touring, kicking people out of the
band party hard with kenneths ugly wife playing with tgs
lilla kuk & trading tapes.
Why
are you screaming like that when your singing? dont you ever
catch any throat-aches sometimes?
tom-terje:
i am trying to express myself & perform my art as intense
as possible and yeah beibi sometimes my throat hurts. really
bad. and the more it hurts it makes me feel better as i feel
like im really sacrifice something, my throat, my mouth, my
ass myself for the art. as iam a very sensitive artist it
hurts.
- Can
you present people the current line'up? What are your
tastes, hobbies...? & How old are you?
tom-terje:
we´ve been through lots of lineup changes & i
really hope this will last as I´m sick of dealing
with assholes not being able to understand and obey
the concept , the politics of the band as the no.1.

no i don´t believe in god. i believe in having a good
time,rock out with my cock out & ruining everybody elses
good time yeah i eat meat and vegetables as well big
deal,huh? i try to avoid to watch tv too often and when i
watch it i dont really watch gore or pornoflicks coz it bores
the fukk out of me. im a big fan of divine + old john waters
stuff; desperate living, pink flamingos, polyester etc are
humorus masterpieces. (wonderful pieces of trash! -Pierre) i
like ilse shewolf of the ss,benny & ivar, joelbitar &
liljeholmsrocken as well. are you into porno, beibi? does it

big is your interest in grindcore/noisy -music? What do you
like listening to? do you buy/collect many records?

i´m still into it as i try to buy records as often as i got
cash & find any good shit which is rarely nowadays. i´m
not a collector i buy stuff i like & i dont care how much
the shit is worth or in how many different colours the
records are pressed. i really hate "weird"

you have something against bands with gory lyrics? have u

naahh i don´t care shit about the images/lyrics
"gore"bands use, if the musick is good & fast
enough for my taste I guess I´m into it. Hemdale,
deadinfection, exhumed, gbn, cum are pretty good for example.
I don´t think it´s "brutal" or "sick"
in anyway though. It´s the same with so called
"political aware" bands. I dont think it´s
intelligent. It´s just images that bands/people use to fit
in whatever scene they want to be a part of. Stupid yeah but
It´s just the way most people are. Trendy fukkers, ruins
everything. I´ve been listening to Carcass since 88 and I
still appreciate them, first album is the shit. Pornbands?
It´s the same with gore/political bands. they want to
provoke but i think most is too halfassed. If you really
gotta do anything you better give it 100 % or just give it
up. I´m really into Gut especially the cd; awesome, retarded
& german. I´m no big MeatShits fan though. I´ve heard
some funny shit about that guy robert being a real sissy, not
"wild" & " crazy" like he wants
people to think of him. He lives with his grandma and got
cancer , doesn´t he? (I don't know, just hope it's a very
bad malignant cancer. then his fans would cry alot as he

man, me & yasuhiro @ devour started talk about this damn
record in ´94!! and now the motherfukker is ready. i got
mail from yas yesterday telling me he finally got $$$ enough
to release it so you better pray to god nothing else fukk
this up.ok the shit is 33 minutes long I dont know how many
songs . most of it are recorded at 3 different times at 2
studios (our drummers 8-track studio + in soundlab,the
nasumplace) in 1998. it will be released on vinyl ONLY to
start with and cd & mc to come. shemale devour & ask
what´s up, except for his yellow dick;ykdvr@zc4.so-net.ne.jp devour have released stuff like
discordanceaxis both albums, AxCx best of pt2, deathside ep,
nightstick ep,blood for blood ep,fatday cd,dsb ep etc &
have some kool shit planned like NineShocksTerror (ex
H-100´s) lp they are really good fast 80´s style HC
,boston,ma.comp etc
And
also about all the other releases your planning to release in
a near future...

actually we haven´t planned ANYTHING lots of bands wants to
split records with us though but nothing is confirmed yet. so
i better shut up.

you like to play live gigs? Do you approximately know how
many shows you performed? Any major tours, memories &
really cool funny places you played at? Do you currently have
something planned, some upcoming live dates?

i like playing live yeah especially going on tour meeting all
those weird freaky people fukk shit up. how many gigs have we
done? get a life! its hard to tell but it most be 60+ i dont
know & i dont care. have in mind that most other swedish
grindbands( regurgitate,nasum,retaliation)hardly ever played
live except for a very few gigs. we have been on 3 shorter( 2
+ 1/2 weeks at most)
european(denmark,germany,holland,belgium) tours w/ Abstain
(SF) + MIND (berlin). Most shit is payto play /D.I.Y garbage
you lose loads of money but have a very good time. I cannot
come up with any specific tour story at the moment but i will
never ever go back to mol,belgium seelow,germany
antwerpen,bel again!!! oh uh oh yeah we did a very good gig
at a 2days festival (with loads of emo,xxx yeah whatever
bands) in UMEÅ (=this is were refused,abhinanda,doughnuts
victory style xxx hc bands hailing from)in november last
year. it most have been very good as when we finished our set
some french assholes jumped on stage started to slap our
bassplayers face twice in a french pansy way like only a
frenchman can do, push me & screamed "oui! oui!
oui!" (yeth! they were lisping skinheads) " youi
sexoui bastard". I guess they were pissed coz they were
not able to understand the message or the feeling of just
being sodomized by our very intense rock n roll- show. for
the future? wehave been TALKING TALKING about going to japan
when the album is out.When or if this will happen I cant
tell. Maybe some shows in UK as well(????)

I got no clue have no contact w/ confusion or n.s. Hey we
split the live cd w/ abstain too! About them they kicked
their bassplayer out & are going too continue as a 2piece
I´ve heard. Rob theSwinger (the bassguy) now plays w/ some
other band. both parts badmouth each other as much as

Didn't
you ever play a Fear of God cover? I have some Arsedestroyer
dub tapes without any tracklist and I'm not sure but some
guitar riffs reminded me something from this band!...
Do you play cover versions of any other bands?

we played "running through the blood" in 92-93, got
tired of it but saved the "master"-intro FOG used
for one of our own song.We´ve played lots of covers through
the years like "Hängd" (Huvudtvätt),
"BSB" (protesbengt), "War system"
(Skitslickers), "Reaganomics" (DRI),
"Judge" (AxCx), "Deceiver" + "prison
without walls" (ND), "Unneccesery Violence"
(StraightAhead ), "Pissa ja Paska" (TerveetKädet)
,"greazy fukken jap" (vj),"Krossa NRP"
(anticimex), "Free Fuck" (Krunch) ,some Lärm songs
that I can´t remember titles of at the moment etc etc...We
mostly played these live for fun as there are good songs have
to admit its kinda bad thing doing this though ,as i usually
really despise coverbands or even worse tribute records. That
shit sukk & is a total waste.
And
then, what can you say about sweden? It really worths coming
up there for sight seeing? & is there new good sensations
in matter of grind-noise? What do you think of Nasum,
Regurgitate & Birdflesh? (or are my personal swedish
faves...)

i most say that sweden is a very dull place to live in. the
scene sukk. good shows are very rare. i don´t really like it
at all. you can probably have a good time here if you come
for vacation & party hard but that´s it. i havent heard
any new grind/noise bands from here. some good bands that
broke up though are= nojsbojs ( released 1 split ep w/ crappy
calypsoband on yoj-rec swe, 1ep on panx + shitty splittape w/
yetmeanyet), dismachine (have afew records out the
split7" w/ nailed down is pretty good) and HJÄRNSLÄPP
they exists! 2 AD-members,sounds abit like us without guitar
+ more spacey parts, have recorded some demos & are going
to be on some comps I think. check out the www site; www.ur.vg-satellit- where you´re suppose to order the songs on
cd very soon! Nasum & Regurgitate are good at what
they´re doing i guess; playing generic crappy garbage trendy
bullshitgrind for stupid lowlife frenchman trash!!!
