Interview with Christoph of Roskopp (June 2006)

Mp3 sample: "YYY Infant" (s/t 7" Ep - www.crucificados.de)

Ok, let's start with intros... Who does what in the band? I know Jake has also been playing in Garbage Guts... Are you or have you ever been playing in other acts than Roskopp?

Yeah, Jake does vocals in Garbage Guts, he does vocals and plays bass in Roskopp (and drums occasionally). Xavier plays guitar and he's also in The Day Everything Became Nothing, in which he plays bass and does some vocals. Dave plays guitar and he used to play in a metalcore band called Another Way. I play drums and sometimes sing when Jake drums (we switch over for a few songs). I haven't really done anything else that's gotten anywhere but I had a semi-band going with Roby from The Kill for a few months but I can't drive and we live far apart so it kinda fell apart which was a shame because it was a lot of fun. Jake and I also started band with Benny from Garbage Guts and Vaginal Carnage for a couple of months but that also fell apart as he had too many bands going. Jake played guitar, Benny played bass and I drummed. Jake and Xavier have a black metal project that has kinda been in the works for a while but they haven't had the time to do too much with it, but they have a couple of songs, and I think Xavier's doing a doom band at some stage, but I can't remember if the other people who were gonna be involved still are. And if my pal Mario ever reads this he'll probably be disappointed if I don't mention our high school garage/joke band Shitwhiff! We fucking ruled! Haha.

How, when, where did the band get started? Did you guys know each other well previous to starting the band? Do you actually hang out together outside the band or do you actually hate each others guts and only get together to play grind?!!!

I have no idea when we actually started, though I think it would probably have been around 5 years ago. We kinda were just all friends (Jake and I are brothers and we both went to primary school with Xavier for a couple of years) and started a band together, but it was a gradual process. Jake played drums with Xavier as a 2 piece (called Dirt Mustache, and we still play a song they wrote back then), but at some point Xav and I ended up jamming as a 2 piece and somehow that took precedence. Then after a while Dave joined and Jake decided to teach himself bass because we needed a bassist. We farted around for a few years on and off as we didn't really have rehearsal place and various members got busy with study, work or travel. When we got serious and realized we had some cool songs we were looking for a vocalist and didn't have much luck so Jake once again thought he might as well give it a go and as with his bass playing he turned out to be really good at it. We played our first gig in October 2004 under the rather crappy name Bonehead which we had to settle on as a temporary name to put on the flyer (although I guess it was better than our original name: Je T'aime! Ha!). In May 2005 we changed the name to Roskopp amidst much argument and bullshit, which seems to characterize the way we do everything: by arguing and fuming! We get along quite well for the most part but there always seems to be some kind of band-related argument.

What kind of music do you set out to play with Roskopp? How would you describe your sound? What do you think inspires your way of playing the most? Does everyone in the band more or less have the same musical tastes or do you bring different influences?

Our aim was to play grind from the start, but we kinda went about it in a funny way, flailing in a few different directions (goregrind, tech-grind, hardcore, death metal and sludge) and we were really unsure whether we even sounded good at all and thought it would come across as a total mis-matched mish-mash of styles, but at our first show we actually got a lot of really positive feedback about that element of our sound. People seemed to like that fact that we didn't have such a clearly defined style and did a few different things. I think one of our main concerns was that it had to sound angry or mean, and that was what we were most unsure about. We didn't really have a very clear idea of what we sound like as a band until we listened to the tape of our first gig. It sounded angrier than we expected (considering how un-imposing and geeky we are as individuals) so from then on we were pretty happy to continue on the path we'd started on. Our musical tastes are kinda varied, but we all have a fairly healthy love of grind. I mainly like goregrind and grindcore, but also dig a lot of death metal, hardcore/powerviolence/crust, sludge/doom and old style metalcore like Integrity, Deadguy and shit. Plus I have a bit of a fascination for girly electro pop like Le Tigre, Cyndi Lauper and old Madonna. Jake's tastes are pretty similar to mine except for the Madonna and shit and he doesn't get into much death metal and primarily listens to goregrind and sludge. Xav likes a lot of more experimental (for want of a better term) stuff like drone/doom, black metal (mainly of the darker, more necro and/or avant-garde persuasion), some jazz, and other arty farty stuff I don't really understand along with the grind/death/hardcore we all dig (and he's totally gay for Impaled). Dave likes a lot of war metal/black-thrash and other more metal shit like that as well as the other stuff we all like. Actually, we pretty much have the same tastes with one diverging tangent each. The unifying love of our lives is undoubtedly BIOHAZARD though! D.F.L!!!!!!

So you've got a full length Ep that's just out! Are you satisfied with the way this came out? Why chose a vinyl Ep as first official release? You've also got 2 Split Ep's coming soon, how far along is the work on those?

We're fucking thrilled with how the 7" came out!! Steven from Crucificados Pelo Sistema records did a pretty astonishing job of it. It looks a million bucks and we're really grateful that he went to so much trouble for it. Pity the music lets it down though. nah, I really like the songs but the recording was pretty shit as we did it live in a rehearsal room (but did vocals and Dave's guitar afterwards). We originally recorded for 2 split 7"s and a comp but the recording didn't turn out how we wanted it for a number of reasons and a few songs were kinda fucked up so we were gonna just use 6 songs for a demo we were gonna self release on CD, but we were really slow getting artwork and shit done and in the meantime our friend Max from Agents Of Abhorrence sent a CDR of our demo to Crucificados who are releasing A.O.A's 7" and he loved it and offered to do it as a 7". We said "FUCK YES!" then sat on our asses as usual and still took many months to get him the artwork. But when we did he charged ahead and got it out really quick. We're doing split 7' with Agents Of Abhorrence (killer Aussie tech/art grind on Crucificados again) and Blue Holocaust (on Last House On the Right) and the recording is done, but the mix so far is awful and I'm not sure how much of it we can salvage to a standard we're happy with. Hopefully it comes good soon, and then we'll take a year to get the art for them done too, hahaha!

How do you write the stuff, is there a composing mastermind behind everything or is it more of a group effort? Do songs usually come from riffs or drum patterns? etc... How long have you been playing your respective instruments?

Songs are written a few ways. Sometimes Jake or Xavier will write a semi-full song and bring it to rehearsal, or perhaps just some riffs and we'll work it out at rehearsal. I pretty much work out drums as we write each riff and then we fix it up and change shit around for a few weeks/months. We're pretty slow at finishing songs. I think Xav wrote about 50% of the songs, and Jake wrote around 45%. Dave wrote most of one and I wrote most of one. 3 Roskopp songs came from the band Jake and I had with Benny VC. Jake just kinda wrote the riffs on the spot and we just jammed them for a bit and they came together really quickly (Benny has a fucking great ear for structuring shit!), which is pretty different to how Roskopp usually writes. So thanks must go to Benny for the help writing those ones and letting us steal them! I've been playing drums seriously for maybe 6 years and I played in school for like 6 years before that but never did shit because I was lazy and assumed I could never blast. I dunno how long the others have been playing for. Jake only started when the band started, but played drums for a few years before that and I'd say Xav and Dave would have been playing for around 8 - 10 years?

How many songs have you put together so far? Do you have any favourite songs? Songs that you particularly like playing live?

One song we love playing live is "Twitch Of the Death Nerve" by your band, Blue Holocaust!!! It's a rager and is a heap of fun to barrel through! There are some particular songs that we always like playing live such as S.C.U.M., Cystic Flip-Out, Exonerated Maggots etc. but most of this won't mean shit as no one who hasn't seen us live will know what most of them are. I actually really like all of our songs and we try to rotate them so we play them all semi-regularly, but there's one or two the others don't like much so we don't play them much. We have 20 or so songs and there are 6 or so covers that we play too.

Your song titles are always pretty striking and memorable... Is there a particular theme to the band though?! Do you actually write lyrics? I couldn't decipher anything at all through Jake's vocals, but who knows?! Does Jake have a special technic to keep his vocals that diversified without lyrics?

Jake makes up the titles for the most part, and there are no lyrics as such, but there are some bits and pieces in some of the songs that I've noticed. There's not really much of a theme, but we wanted them to be gory but kinda clever or odd. And we definitely didn't want any fucking porn titles! We kinda toyed with the idea of vaguely pro-female/anti-male themes which wound up just being Bi-Polar Castrator and S.C.U.M. (Society for Cutting Up Men) as a reaction to all the stupid rape/bitch/whore/slut misogynist bullshit that seems so hard to avoid in this scene, but we can't come up with lyrics so it rings a bit hollow (especially since we don't have any female members). I think Jake just works out patterns and sometimes some very loose lyrics to map out the vocal phrasing. I think his vocals and phrasing are great but he's not 100% happy with them as it sometimes has to be slightly simplified to be able to play bass at the same time. Every so often he thinks about getting a new vocalist, but there's no one around here who can really pull all his styles off who isn't already in too many bands.

Jake designed a totally awesome logo for ROskopp and some really great looking art for that first Ep, not to mention the great work he did for Garbage Guts! Where does his inspiration for this stuff comes from? How much work goes into this stuff?! Is he currently working on new stuff? Is the plan to make him draw all your covers?

I know Jake got a lot of inspiration from comic artists like Al Columbia and stuff, but I'm not really sure where else. I dunno if he'll do all our covers. His work is amazing, but it takes a long time and we kinda have trouble coming up with concepts to start with anyway. The 7" cover was actually the unused art for the aborted Garbage Guts/Last Days Of Humanity split 7" which we kinda settled on at the last minute 'cos we didn't know what to do. I hope he does the art for our releases and I think he's gonna do the cover for our Blue Holocaust split, but I dunno if he'll have the time to do it. Xavier is also an amazing artist (he painted the cover for Bile's "Camp Blood" CD and did all the photos and layout for the 2 most recent TDEBN CD's) so we really have no excuse for being so hopeless at getting artwork together

Are you already thinking about a full length release? Would it be released through No Escape Records or are you more interested in other labels doing it? What can you say about it? Would it be all new tracks (tracks not already on the ep's)?

Yeah, we've been planning to do a full length for a while now. We're gonna do that after the split 7"s are done. It will be through No Escape, but it wasn't me signing my own band though! Dave who started No Escape asked us so we are more than happy to go with N.E. I do the label with Dave N.E. so I know how the label works and we both put a lot of work into it and it's going really well so it'll be cool to have our CD on No Escape. We haven't really had many other labels ask us anyway! Haha. We have easily enough material for a full length including the songs on EP's, but we'll probably only use a couple off each EP. Some just because they're songs we really really love and want on the full length and some because the recordings we have now didn't come out as we wanted them to or parts of the songs didn't come out clear enough to tell what's going on. We'll write at least a few more anyway, and I think the plan is to record it before the end of the year but judging by the disappointing outcomes of our other recordings I dunno if we'll ever do it. Plus I nearly die trying to lay down the drums for 10 minutes worth of material so fuck knows how I'll be able to get down a half hour's worth? We can't afford to spend 4 days recording drums! Haha.

10-How often do you rehearse? What kind of place do you use for rehearsals? How often to play live shows?

We used to rehearse every week or at least 3 times a month, but lately we haven't so much and now we're on a semi-break so we won't rehearse very much for the next few months. We just use rented rooms at rehearsal studios. We used to practice in Xav's living room when he used to live in the hills but he moved a few years ago. We seem to play live on average about once a month, maybe twice. We've actually been really fortunate and we get on a lot of really cool shows despite us not having organised one gig except our first! We've also been lucky to get on a fairly wide range of bills, of course we play a lot of grind shows, but we also get on a lot of more hardcore type bills and have been able to play with some great international bands like Iron Lung and Artimus Pyle from America and Palm from Japan etc. as well as heaps of killer Aussie bands like Captain Cleanoff, Fuck.I'm Dead, Garbage Guts, Intense Hammer Rage, Die Pigeon Die, Agents Of Abhorrence, Pisschrist, TDEBN, Los Diablos, Shagnum to name a few. We don't play on metal shows much at all though, we never get asked and I generally don't enjoy metal gigs as much as grind or hardcore shows so I haven't busted my ass to get to get on more metal bills.

11-How do you feel about performing live? Are live shows the most important aspect of the band to you? Quite a few of your performances have been taped and put on dvdr; and they look and sound pretty great too! Do you keep recordings of all your shows? Are these available to anyone or just for your personal archives??!

I love playing gigs, but sometimes we're a bit sloppy or have an off night and we wind up pissed off that we sucked (usually my fault because often I can't really play the songs as fast as they should be without dropping from exhaustion) but most people don't even notice or care if we fuck up a bit. They seem to think it's better if we're pissed off and fuming 'cos it makes it funnier! And I'd probably agree, seeing bands who are just fucking ANGRY always makes it far more enjoyable and intense to watch because I hate watching bands who just have too much control and can play so smoothly that there's no attack or unpredictability or volatility to it. I don't mind if it's really tight, I just hate when it looks so effortless and lifeless like it's just some virtuoso geek sleeping through the performance (though by the same token I also don't like much noisegrind 'cos it goes too far in the opposite direction where it's like there's no effort made to make it tight or cohesive at all, and a lot of that stuff sounds a bit lifeless because there's no struggle or challenge to keep it together). That's why I loved watching Vaginal Carnage so much, they were always teetering on the brink of chaos, but they always managed to hold it together somehow and every show was exciting and different and kinda wild. No one else really seems to have the same vibe they did, such amazing presence. Playing live is probably the most important thing for me, like I said it's not always perfect, but it's the best way to do things I reckon because the pressure's on to get it right first time so it's always really satisfying to finish a show where I haven't dropped my sticks 20 times or fucked up every fill and the blasts stayed up to speed the whole night. I'm kind of a perfectionist in that I want to be able to play spot-on all the time, but my abilities are generally nowhere near my ambitions so there's often a few fuck ups or tantrums, but who cares? It keeps it interesting. I hate recording because I always make mistakes that I want to fix up but I can almost never get through a whole song perfectly, hahah. We don't record our own shows, except we recorded audio of our first show to see how it went. We're really lucky 'cos there's a dude here called Brendan who records heaps of local gigs on video or audio or both and seems to get damn good quality out of his equipment! He also quite often makes full-on pro looking DVD's of gigs with every band who played it, with covers, menu pages and song titles and broken up into each song! It's killer that he puts so much work into it without even being asked to, and we've got quite a few gigs he's recorded that have come out amazing! Also the 2 times we played interstate people filmed it and put them on really slick DVD's too! Xavier, Jake and I used to do that sort of thing around 2001 to 2003 til we got too lazy. Xav had a minidisc recorder and a good stereo mic so we just recorded audio of heaps of the incredible local bands of that era. I think that sort of thing is really really important, just so there's some sort of document of what was happening at a particular time in a particular place. I mean it's great to be able to go back and re-live those times, 'cos around here at that stage it was an amazing scene: The Kill, Vaginal Carnage, Fuck.I'm Dead, Capatin Cleanoff! I remember the first show we recorded was Fuck.I'm Dead and it just sounded awesome! I think I listened to it at least 6 or 7 times that night on a walkman in bed laughing my ass off at all Jay's stupid jokes and the heckles to and from all the guys in the crowd we're just as funny! And at that stage F.I.D. had only recorded a demo so I didn't have most of those songs to listen to at home. Quite a few of those recordings have been traded all over the world now and I often see people I've never even spoken to saying on message boards and shit that they're listening to one of those recordings, and that's a really good thing because most of these people will never be able to see some of these bands 'cos they'll never be able to tour outside Australia or have broken up. So, yeah. big thanks to Brendan for all the work he's doing at the moment!!! I'm sure he's more than happy to make these recordings available if people send him a couple of bucks for postage and blank cd's so if anybody's interested drop him an email at kingbean_ate_my_baby@hotmail.com or have a peek at http://www.beanscene.tk

You've got a few really kick-ass cover songs in your répertoire too... Phobia, Hemdale's "Delicious Gory Fun"... I think you also did "Consequence" from Gut/Ulcerous Phlegm... Is there anymore? Or do you plan to do any more? On what basis do you pick the songs you're gonna cover? How did you convince the other guys in the band to do a Blue Holocaust cover again Christoph?!!

We have 6 covers that we've played live: Hemdale- Delicious Gory Fun, Unsane - Sick, Phobia - Rape Theft Murder, Ulcerous Phlegm - Consequence (what a fresh idea!! Haha), Dropdead - You Have A Voice and the Blue Holocaust cover. I think we just pick songs based on whether they'll be fun to play and if it's a song or band we really love. Ideally they'll be sort of within our style so they don't sound too out of place. The Unsane one I guess is a bit out of character for us but I reckon it still works well. It was piss easy to get the guys to play 'Twitch Of The Death Nerve'! Jake and I already loved it, and I'm pretty sure Dave already had the CD and as soon as we played it for Xavier he flipped! Covers are always fun to play and we keep meaning to learn new ones but we've been pretty lazy lately. We fuck around at rehearsals with a few others such as Machetazo's 'El Enjambre Asesino', and other half baked attempts at shit like Engorged, Nasum, Cannibal Corpse and 'Tales From The Hardside' by Biohazard! We've recorded the Phobia one for our 7" and we recorded the Blue Holocaust one for the split 7". We recorded the Hemdale one for a tribute CD that was going to happen for our friend Chris from Vaginal Carnage who sadly passed away. The CD was gonna be all bands from our area and bands that he was friends with playing one original tune and a cover of a band he loved. It's a really great idea to pay tribute to him and show how much he meant to all of us and everyone around here, but for some reason the CD hasn't really come together. I hope it does one day and we're saving the Hemdale tune for that. If the tribute CD never eventuates out I don't wanna use the song for any other release.

Can you explain the origin of the name Roskopp? Do you think there would be any copyright issues in case you'd plan to do merchandising with that name, you might not care about that though?!!

We pinched the name from a skater from the 80's called Rob Roskopp. He always had the most KILLER artwork on his boards and merch! The 'eye' graphic and the mangled 'ugly face' design were always big favourites for Jake and I 'cos they were so gory and gruesome and such striking, creative images. We figured that aesthetic would fit quite well for a goregrind band. We're not gonna use it as a fully fledged theme to base all our art on, but it kinda makes a good starting point. Skate art used to be so cool back then (and all other aspects of skate culture too, come to think of it), When we were really young we used to spend hours upon hours at skate shops gazing at all the incredible designs on the old Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta, Alva and Schmitt Stix etc decks and shit and since we couldn't afford heaps of boards we'd just buy the stickers of all the rad graphics and cover our shitty boards with them. Plus the name is a sort of ugly and harsh sounding word when spoken and looks cool when written, and if anyone doesn't know who Rob Roskopp is I think the name is ambiguous enough that people won't have too much of a preconceived idea what we sound like before hearing us. I don't think there'd be copyright issue with merch etc (I hope... haha), but I'm gonna send a 7" to Rob Roskopp out of courtesy and hopefully he'll see it as an affectionate tribute rather than a rip off! Haha. I'm pretty sure he designs and builds mountain bikes now.

Now regarding No Escape Records... Is the label just you & Dave? Who does what in this enterprise? Do you both decide on which bands you want to release? Is it a lot of work taking care a label like that? What are some of your latest releases & can you uncover some stuff that will be coming next?!

Yeah, it's basically just Dave and I doing it and it sure is a LOT of hard work!!! But we don't care because we both fucking love doing it and get a lot of satisfaction from it. I do the trades, distribution, mailorder and all that side of things plus writing the cheesy blurbs. Dave does the website and handles all the promotional side of things. We both deal with bands and all that kinda stuff. There have been a few other people helping out form time to time, Mardy from TDEBN used to do the label with Dave for a little while but lost interest I think, and Jake used to help out a bit with updating the catalog and now my girlfriend Rebecca (who also does Vomitose zine) helps out a bit with packing up orders and trades and some other stuff which is a massive help when things get really busy (thanks Ruby!!). For us to release something it basically has to be grind or closely tied to grind, and be something Dave and I are both really into. That's pretty much it, we don't really consider whether it'll be marketable or a huge seller or that shit. Basically if we have faith in the quality of the music and really enjoy it personally then that's good enough for us. We do have to be picky though, as there are a heap of bands we'd probably like to release but we already have a pretty full schedule for releases so it's pretty much gotta jump out and grab us or blow us away to be considered now. Dave started the label back in like 2001 or 2000 I think, and I started helping maybe 3 or so years ago? I'm really fucking grateful for the opportunity to work with a label like this because Dave did an incredible job pretty much all on his own getting the label up and running, putting out some amazing records and building such a great reputation for top quality releases. When I first started out just writing the promo blurbs I used to wonder if I'd one day be able to choose bands to put out, and I remember thinking I'd love it if I could one day release a Voltron CD. And here I am... we're putting out the goddamn Voltron CD!! I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Because Dave had built such a brilliant reputation for the label bands are really keen to work with us. I get to work with bands like MeatYard, Hymen Holocaust, Cliteater, The Kill (my favourite record EVER!!!) and many others! And fucking BILE!!! It was pretty wild to be able to do that. When they first decided to go with us they told us that even though we weren't in a big enough position to offer what they had initially wanted from a label (get the record pressed on vinyl etc...) they knew we did a good job and we were in it because we sincerely fucking LOVE this stuff! So that was really nice to hear. So far this year we've released: Hymen Holocaust - Necromance, Bile - The Shed, Cliteater/Suppository split CD, MeatYard/Maggots split CD, Putrescence - Dawn Of The NecroFecalizer and The Day Everything Became Nothing - Invention : Destruction. Next up is the Fuck... I'm Dead DVD, then hopefully after that will be Intense Hammer Rage's new full length and the Voltron discography, but I'm not sure exactly when they'll be ready. Coming up we also have Captain Cleanoff and Vaginal Carnage reissues (with bonus shit), Die Pigeon Die's debut full length (killer new Aussie goregrind young-'uns similar to LDOH and CBT etc), another Hymen Holocaust CD, a reissue of Injury To Eye's demo (amazing old school death metal like Autopsy, Incantation and Disembowelment but with a really original and dark, almost arty kind of approach), Roskopp CD, and with a bit of luck the MeatYard and Voltron full lengths will happen. Not all of that will be out this year of course, but it'll keep us busy and there'll be more stuff too (I'm sure I've forgotten something). Take a peep at www.noescaperecords.com for more info and please buy some shit! Haha.

If you ever formed another band, apart from grind what styles would you like to maybe try out?!

I really want to do an old school metalcore band like old Integrity and Ringworm etc and I'd love to do a powerviolence/hardcore band. I wanted to call Roskopp 'Doubled Over' earlier on and I did a cool logo but no one else liked the name so I figure it'd suit a hardcore sorta band along the lines of Despise You or No Comment etc. I'd also like to do a raw scummy gore/grind/death band like Bile, MeatYard, Rottrevore etc. I dunno if I'll ever do anything other than pretty blast focused shit as I can't help but blast 'cos it's the best beat ever!!!!!!!!

OK... I'm clearly running of questions now... Please list the last 5 albums you've played now! Last 5 movies you've watched?!!

The last 5 albums I listened to were: Mortalized - Absolute Mortality #2, Nile - Annihilation Of the Wicked, Magrudergrind - 62 Trax Of Thrash, Pro-Pain - The Truth Hurts and Gore - Consumed By Slow Decay. The last 5 movies I watched were: Jarhead, Goodfellas, Friday the 13 th , The Basketball Diaries and Ghostbusters.

From my really far away point of view Australian grind scene seems to be really effervescent, does that seem that way to you? What are some of your fave australian bands playing right now?!!! Some maybe unrelated questions now but what's the status on Garbage Guts? I hear The Kill is playing again, is that true?!

Yeah, the Australian (and particularly Melbourne) grind scene has always been really healthy. When I first started going to grind shows there was awesome shit like Warsore, Open Wound, Captain Cleanoff, Unit 11:74, Blood Duster etc. Then after that was one of the strongest periods here when The Kill, Vaginal Carnage and Fuck... I'm Dead started up and each of those bands had a real ass-kicker in there and shit really started happening, Dave FID, Roby TK and Chris VC really put in a lot of energy and enthusiasm and that kinda spread to a lot of other people then bands like The Day Everything Became Nothing and Garbage Guts started up and Shagnum got back together. Now there's newcomers like Die Pigeon Die, Super Fun Happy Slide, Agents Of Abhorrence, Aeroflot and Roskopp. And Undinism reformed about 2 years ago too so the scene is quite healthy. It seems to go in cycles, sometimes there'll be a small quiet period when a bunch of bands break up (heaps of bands here seem to have a fairly short lifespan) but soon enough the folks from those bands will start something new and new people will start something up. Garbage Guts are releasing a 7"/MCD on Last House On the Right. They're mixing the recording at the moment so hopefully it's not too far off. They just played their last show for 6 months or more because the drummer is off overseas for a while, so hopefully when he gets back they'll start doing shit again. That's the plan anyway. And yeah, The Kill are together again and writing new stuff for a MCD/split 7"s and are planning to play live too so that's great news!!! Can't wait to hear the new stuff.

Alright that's all I've got! Wow! Thanks for going through this hell!!! Some closing words would be great!

Ha ha! You have no idea what hell is until you read my long ass answers! Sorry for being such a motormouth! But thanks a lot for the interview and all your support! It's pretty rad to be in a webzine like Braindead! If anyone wants to get in touch with us, drop us an email at roskoppblast@hotmail.com or check www.myspace.com/roskopp for a couple of MP3's etc. If anyone outside Australia wants to get the 7" check out www.crucificados.de We don't have heaps left and we need some shit left to sell at gigs. Thanks!
