MALIGNANT TUMOR starts again with a cool new grinding “Motocrust” album called “In Full Swing” Let´s see, what Bilos, the only forming member, has to say about the past , present and the future.

Just back from studio, hope it worked very well!
Bilos: Hey mate. Studio work was exhausting as every time, but i think we made a good album with fucking killer sound.

What can we expect from your new album? Another dirty Rock´n roll disc?
Bilos: Not so exact man.You can expect very metal album in 80's way with big portion of dirty speed rock'n roll and touch of scandinavian crustcore. Simply MOTORCRUST.

What´s the bigger part while recording-session, fun or work?
Bilos: Both of them. You have to work really hard to make a good album in studio, but fun is very important too, because you want to put this funny mood what you had in studio to the album. And trust me we know how to make fun....chacha

What´s about a vinyl-version?
Bilos: Vinyl version is out just few weeks. We have one normal version and one special limited edition with extra 7"EP with two special songs on it.Both versions includes very nice cover and clear wax vinyl. It looks fucking killer I have to say.

Let´s go back in time. Why did you needed your own band in the early 90th. Tell us about the beginning!
Bilos: What can I say? We listened a lot thrash metal and other forms of brutal extreme metal and grind core in late 80's and beginning of 90's and we felt like to form band may be a good fun so we made it. Then were thousands of line up's, breaks and shits, then finally we formed
Malignant Tumour in 91.
We had those lofi instruments which you can hardly tuned.Amplifiers made of old tuners and stuffs like this. But there was a big enthusiasm. Many bands started in that time in czech.Today most of them are dead, unfortunately.

The first big change was into your lyrics, fom gore to social criticism. What was the reason fot it?
Bilos: I was fed up with all this gore stuff.I still like some goregrind but most of this bands means fucking nonsens to me.It looks like race who will having a most shocking cover and as much bowels and flesh on it as possible. We NEVER will be part of this.

Your line-up was alltimes instable. Why? Are you not pissed off to find new musicans again and again? What keeps you running?
We had thousands of line ups during whole MT period but it looks like we are now stabile. I lover the music what Malignant Tumour making and this is what keeps me going on.....other band members keeps me going as well.We are good friends and everyone has his stabile place in the band and it keeps us together and functional.

Tell me about your time in Belgium and The Netherlands! Was it your musicaly rebirth? And why did you came back to Chzech Rep.?
Bilos: It was very good time.I met a lot of people who became my good friends and I like Holland overal.
I discover there a lot of nice music but I can not speak about something as musical rebirth.I still like same music more than 20 years.I am real old school maniac.
I played in Belgium with some people two months and two years in Holland as Malignant Tumour.I have to say that specially dutch line up with Joxxah and Jelle was killer. We were fans of same music and we were good drinkers as well. I missed them.....
I decided to came back to czech because I was bored in Holland and I had some troubles to find some proper job as you can not live on band.

If you got new musicans, have they influenced you in your way playing music?
Bilos: Of course yes.New musicians always influenced me and MT sound. But they know that MT has it's specific way and they can not come up with some pop song or something like that....you know.

After you was back home, you music changed completely! What the hell was going on?
Bilos: Man, we becoming older and to be honest I don't want to play fastest music on the world....I like the power and speed of rock'n roll and crust, so we put it more in that direction.

Are beards, fun and Rock´n Roll better than gore and brutality?
Bilos: Definitely YES. But I still think that our music is more brutal than some "So called" brutal bands....but it's up to anyone.

If I say MT are Motörhead Punks, am I right?
Bilos: You better say Motorhead metalheads......but punks sound good to me.

Is this the final version of MT now? Or will you hide some surprises for future?
Bilos: We don't know what future will brings. Now only one thing is sure. We will making tour over the GERMANY in September 2008 to say thanx to all our german fans who supported us during all years.

Never thought about changing the name? Coz you are far away nowdays from what you was 15 years ago.
Bilos: No, we never thought to change the name of the band. Meaning of those two words are simply clear, but you can take it in some different points of view.

How many releases had MT? Any important for you? Or stuff you want better forget?
Bilos: Every release of MT is important for me.I am proud what i made with band and there is no release I want to forget. Some stuff may have a better sound but we are poor band and we have no money to pay good profesional studio every time. Of course most important record is for me the latest album " In full swing".

I´have enjoyd your Saddam Clip. Who had the idea for it? Is it only fun or satire?
Bilos: This was idea of our guitar player Koral and it's nothing but FUN!!!
Unbelievable is that on you tube it watched almost 60000 people till now.

If you look back, do you think you found allways the right decisions?
Bilos: What happened in history, it was.I don't care. I maybe sometime didn't take good decision but I am living now and band as well. I rather watching to future than back.

First time I saw you, was on FUCK THE COMMERCE fest. Do you remember this fest? Do you never miss your harmonizer???????????
Bilos: Ha, Fuck therCommerce in 98 was very good event and remeber this because there was first decision to put on Obscene Extreme Festival. I still have a video of this event and I have to say we played quite good back then. I don't miss harmonizer because my vocal is different then I used time ago. But still I like those guttural voices time to time....
.
Ok, thanks for your time, last shit is yours!
Bilos: OK, thanx a lot for interview Jupp.We hope to see people at our tour in Germany in September.
