Review: Brilliant Split Cd featuring 2 of the most twisted and original one-man Grind acts at their best.
Decomposing Serenity: Decomposing Serenity comes with a really neat sound and some very powerful songs. Yeah, it's still kinda lo-fi thrashing deviant grind with extremely sick vocals and schizophrenic song structures, but it sounds sharper than usual. Demented and really creepy!

Microphallus: Microphallus side is a definite success. I've heard some cool Microphallus stuff before, but this is the real deal! It's dense, tight and catchy. Twisted cyber goregrind with frenzied, fast-paced song structures, a sonic speed factor and terrific gory, weird effect vocals. It has a sinister feel that few bands are able to deliver and a flesh-ripping, gore dripping sound that really gets me. The kind of intense shit that overwhelms senses and drives you nuts. Don't know what I can add, it's just some of the most original and intense grind stuff I've heard in some times. Bonus points for covering "Basic Torture Procedure" my fave Rgte song ever. This Split Cd is a must-have for Raw and Insane Grind suckers.

Decomposing Serenity Review: It's a pleasure to listening to Decomposing Serenity's furious grind-noise on cd. If you don't know them, their stuff sound pretty raw and thrashy, with alot of totally uncontrolled outbursts of blasts and sick screamy/splattery gore vocals... Their style is quite particular and I'd recognize among others. I think percussions are made with a drum machine because it's pretty fast at times. Guitars are very raw and very thrashy; Expect something furious, uncontrolled and a little gory. Song titles are totally twisted like their artwork.

Vômito Review: Vômito (Brazil) side is pretty good too. More into gory grind-death à la Carcass/Flesh Grinder. Pretty savage and obscure, with both normal growls and splattery vocal effects. Guitars are a little dissonant and heavy, and drums tight enough and a fast. Their stuff is not bad, but just a little draggy... It's good anyway, really sick and splattery.
