*** INFO ***
Blue Holocaust is a one man goregrind project... It spawned in my head a
long time ago although it only really came into being through interaction with
Joey of Savage Man Savage Beast around year 2001. I began writing my first songs in a fast, primitive, noisy and raw goregrind style. I wanted
cinephilic Impetigo-style lyrics and imagery, so I started picking up intros
from 70's italian horror movies. I threw a few things together and built a Blue
Holocaust website and soon planned a split release with SMSB. Later I asked Drew/Microphallus
to join in and the 3 way split cdr was released as the one and only release
ever on my so called "label", Braindead Records. I also wanted Blue Holocaust
to be a showcase for my own artwork, so I improvised a Stevo/Impetigo &
Luisma/Haemorrhage-inspired piece... The cdr was mostly promoted through my webzine.
More or less 100 copies of this were made and that was it.
In 2002, Napalm Suck asked me to do a split tape, I recorded 8 tracks in a slightly
more constructed and heavy style than my first songs, maybe a little more boring
too... I also appeared on a few compilations like "Smoldering Humanity"
& "Goreland"...
A split release with Maniac Killer was planned but it sadly never ever happened...

I
first started working on the concept of a Full Length album about giallo movies, a
really new label Exit Wound was interested in releasing it. I started writing
songs but the stuff didn't really work out so I slowly abandonned the project...
A Split Cdr with another one man act from Sweden called Broken Bodies was also
planned as the second release on Braindead Records, I asked my personal favorite
one man grind act Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage to join in for another one of these
3 way split cdr and he accepted. Unfortunately, Broken Bodies later dissolved before
anything could happen... A Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage/Blue Holocaust was still due
to happen though.
2003, Kikanju (Lofiordie Records/SMU) sent me a tape of his own mindblowing
drumming version of Blue Holocaust songs, a split ep with SMU was mentionned
but again nothing actually happened...
I recorded 2 Gut cover versions for American Line's Tribute to Gut Cd: "Dead
Girls Don't Say No" & "Fistful of Sperm", only the first
one made it to the cd.
Then Murder the World Productions proposed to release the long due Dysmenorrheic
Hemorrhage/Blue Holocaust release, my side of the split was finished
(16 tracks in 15 minutes) but after a long period of silence from Kyle of DH,
Murder the World Productions agreed to released a full length Blue Holocaust
Cd instead! I picked up my giallo themed full length album idea again and started
writing lyrics and sketching cover artwork ideas. I only kept about half of
the material from the Split w/ DH and started recording new songs... It took
a chunk of 2003 and a good part of 2004 for me to finish the work... 32 all-out
thrashing goregrind tracks & some of my most elaborate cover artwork (filled
with giallo movie references)! Even though it's really not a masterpiece, alot
a sweat and blood went into this damn thing!
Since then I've been wasting a lot of time trying to find ways to improve my sound... I have songs ready for Split 7" Ep's w/ Embryonic Cryptopathia & Roskopp...
I'm also starting to work on my second full length Cd called "Flesh for the Cannibal God", a concept album about... Italian Cannibal movies! I have some cool ideas for it I think, hopefully it'll be a decent follow up to "Twitch of the Death Nerve".
Regarding the origin of the name "Blue Holocaust", it's simply a really bizarre european (only french/belgian I think) alternate title for the sleazy and gory italian movie "Buio Omega" (a.k.a. "Beyond the Darkness"), directed by Joe d'Amato (Aristide Massacessi) in 1979: one of my all-time favorites...
