Review:
Provocative grind/death master-stroke: their style is comparable to Phobia(usa) mixed with Napalm death, Agathocles and Macabre, their lyrics remind of Impetigo... A solid blastingbeating, meatpounding drum wall, some groovy guitarmagedon, a cockslappin' bass and screamy vox answering to roaring or moaning grunts, it's always an efficient recipe!!! This compact disc compiles the 2 first B.D. lps.("Yeest" and "Fisting the dead"). Many entertaining introductions, samples from horror, gore, trash and exploitation movies like "Blood sucking freaks"(aka "Incredible Torture Show" the sample comes like "Your mouth would make an interesting urinal") "Braindead" (aka "Dead Alive"), "Bad taste"("Dereks don't run") or even "True Romance"... Lyrics are also influenced by those films, as well as serial killers(Grossman!) or simply about imaginative grotesque and gory stories... A tasty sense of humour and a megaton of bludgeoning grinding metal. There's a hidden track before the first song, "Albert", some kind of techno remix, check it out! (6 minutes before the first track)

Review:
The first real full-lenght album of these 4 australian mama's boyz... Mighty mighty Blood Duster is back you might say. Yeah, I was also anxiously waiting for this album! But well... I ended up a little disappointed; there isn't really as much grind feeling as on "Yeest" cd. They above all kept the groovy and redneck rock side of their music! Though some amazing violent grindcore arrangements can be heard on tracks like "I hate girls and crusty punx", "Hippie kill team" or "Chop-chop"... Yeah, this is brain smashing psychotic grind craze... but I'm a bit sad.. Grind parts are so small! Riffs on some songs even reminded me Cathedral or latest Metallica crap!!! This is sad, because they know how to grind shit out of people's prick, but here they contain all their insanity and play some crappy rock we heard so many times before! Okay, this is funny and groovy, but it's quite sad to waste a so brilliant grindcore potential!!! Song titles are funny and so called UNpolitically correct... they don't like girls, hippies, crusty punks, vegetarians... Always spreading their usual exagerated and in the end very funny sexist attitude... Several movie samples(including a good Bad Taste sample, this a quote from Derek: "bastards! bastards!") and a funny cover art(-warning genitals may offend-). Definitely not for serious people.
