ANAL CUNT "Very rare Rehearsal from February 1989" Cd

(Shipman Records)
Release date:
2002

Review:
If you haven't guessed what this cd is all about from the very obscure title, let me help you out, it's a very rare Anal Cunt Rehearsal from February 1989. So, what you get here is grind-noise, wow! Good old Anal Cunt rehearsal style, "back when it was still fun" like Seth Putnam states in the liner notes of this cd. Intense, improvised grind-noise, really raw sound and people talking between the tracks. Sounds pretty fresh and noisy. This cd is a must-have for Anal Cunt fans, it goes without saying, and it's pretty good too.

ANAL CUNT "Everyone should be killed" Cd

(Earache Records)
Release date: 1993

The first Anal Cunt full length album. It's terrible grind-noise, with a quite good sound production, ruined by totally inconsisitent song writing. Seth Pullman have a wonderful voice, hysterical screams and dirty growls. This is very good. A masterpiece of noise-grind. But personally, I prefer structured grindcore, this is not always very catchy. On this album, the fun is present in the song titles(of course), but not much inside the music (if I can say music) like they did it in their latest records. Everyone should be killed! Nothing else to add.

ANAL CUNT "Top 40 hits" Cd

(Earache Records)
Release date: 1993

Review: This is the second long-length cd (i think) from the Boston(us) based noise addicted idiots. Here are 40 tracks(!) for almost 39 minutes... yes, most of the songs are very short, but it's why we like Anal Cunt for! So....... I'll say that there's two categories of songs. Somes are totally "noisy" with screams + groans drowned in a fog of detuned guitars and confused brutal drum beats, recorded with a very blurry sound... And some other songs are more in a grindcore/hardcore/death (not very fast though) vein with a quite clearer sound, with high pictched screaming and catchy rythms... allright all this with their special sense of humour, as you can judge by the cover, the songtitles (just below) and the "Stayin' alive" Bee Gees cover (which is the best song on "Top 40 hits")

Tracks: 1)Some Hits 2)Some More Hits 3)Pepe, the Gay Waiter 4)Even More Hits 5)M.J.C. 6)Flower shop guy 7)Living Colour is My Favorite Black Metal Band 8)Lenny's in My Neighborhood 9)Stayin' Alive (Oi!
