Sweden! And a shitload of live songs. It's pretty good, I
feel very comfortable with their noisy grindcore style.
Something messy, although structured, with heavy raw
guitars, rumbling fast drums. Great performance by the
vocalist (Terje), and his high pitched screamings, who
also talks alot (who said too much?) between the songs,
most of the time to make fun of people from mol (hehe).
This band is good, they have a perfect grind feeling.
Their stuff sounds instinctive, no prefab grind, pretty
raw too... Abstain Review: Some live material too for this north american band... Abstain once more plays great fast grindcore/hardcore, without compromise, in the vein of Siege, or Drop Dead... They're very good, very energic, with a good grindcore feeling, an impressive surge of violence and a sound of their own; I think that they're very talented, so they should manage the impact/catchy thing of their stuff, work on more spirit to add in the vocals (mostly screamy, with some backing savage grunt, but often too monochord). Well, to stop with this review, I'd say it's a good record, only good live material, of two very exctiting talented grind-core bands. Arsedestroyer Tracks: 1)foad
