| Ulcerrhoea Review: The Split w/Pulmonary
Fibrosis
truly amazed me, and Ulcerrhoea keeps it that way. My
review is based on some raw mix or something, but it's
already really impressive. Brilliant grindcore, a bit
crusty and stuff... It sticks to intensity,
straightforward basic structures and it's really fast-paced.
Furious vocals, sharp fast drums, grind riffs... Things
that make great impression on me. It's the kind of grind
I'm psyched about. They downplayed the gore gore vocal
effects on this one though, I think there's only one song
with them. Too bad! The rest is totally awesome, really
one of the finest grindcore act around, I mean it! Tracks: 1)Solve the conflict 2)The cancer grows on 3)Vacuum packed & empty 4)Stand below 5)Declaration of dependence 6)Full of shit 7)What's next 8)Born kneeling |
| Dysmorfic Review: This one's in the same spirit as
Ulcerrhoea, fast, totally raw and violent. Not always as
straightforward, a little bit more loose, with some more
moderate parts at times. So, maybe not as compact, but
still really effective, kick-ass, fast, brilliantly
played the same way Ulcerrhoea is... I had never heard
Dysmorfic before, but that's a band I look forward to
know more about. And that's gonna be an awesome Split Ep,
obviously huge effort by both bands, who keep their
grindcore as pure as possible... Tracks: 1)Force fed 2)Nothing 3)Punk? 4)Grey nothingness 5)Ignorance/Lies |
UNHOLY GRAVE/AGATHOCLES

Grave "Agonies" Review: Extreme
grindcore in the own Unholy Grave way: growls and
screams, quite feeble sound but catchy music, lot of
noise... Some mince/crusty influences... one cool piece
of grind. One of my very favourite band from Japan! Tracks: 1)Slaughtered civilians 2)My nightmare 3)Japan's warcrime 4)Confession 5)Ei skit sota 6)Kim after Kim |
![]() Agathocles
"No gain-just pain" Review: 5 grind/mincecore
songs: one of the best Agathocles eps; only crushing,
fast, mincing and catchy songs; In Agathocles own style...
very interesting lyrics....... simply great!!! Tracks: 1)No gain- just pain 2)The sin I regret 3)Insufferable beings? 4)Do all the sick experience healing? 5)L'ardoise vierge |
UNHOLY GRAVE/CAPTAIN
3 LEG (Headfucker Records) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Release date: 1998 Unholy Grave Review: A new Unholy
Grave ep: always in their very personal way: a merciless,
raw, intense, brutal grindcore with a great crusty/noisy
vibe. Vocals ranging from hateful crazed screamings to
demented low growls, and a variety of fast grinding
parts, midtempos and crusty riffs... A helluva great
japanese grindcore band... With social lyrics and a funny
cover... Tracks: 1)Xeroxed person 2)Zillion of bodies 3)Life after death 4)Land for sacrifice 5)Mutilated souls |
![]() Captain 3
Leg Review:
This is the first Captain 3 Leg release I had
the pleasure to listen to! Here are about 7 tracks(the
titles aren't on the cover!) of grind/noise à la
Dismembered Fetus("Generation of hate"), with a
heavier, blowing sound and a bigger hardcore/crust
influence. Anyway C3L is definitely extremely intense and
hateful! Fast and harsh grinding or twisted crusty
midtempos, it's fucking ripping brains out! Hysterical
screams shifting abominable aggressive roars, noisy
guitars and all the shit... Some pissed off grind/noise.
Truly muthafucking insane! Check out the funny Iron
Maiden's "Killers" ripoff cover! |
