Haemorrhage
Review: Starts
with a killer Carcass "Rotten to the Gore"
cover (also available on the "Loathesongs" Mcd), Haemorrhage is the perfect
band to cover Carcass, it's a faithful and impeccable
interpretation. The 2 remaining tracks are freaking new
Haemorrhage material! I think it's awesome, but it's hard
for me not to be pleasantly surprised by the band. They
didn't lose any of their blood-spattered rage and fury if
you wondered, they're still the best grind-gore band
around. They handle their stuff better than ever, but
still they haven't lost any of the corpse-fucking groove
of their early days. If that's a foretaste to the next
album, it's gonna KILL. The cover artwork is great and
the inside collage is also an homage to Carcass! Wonderful
stuff. Tracks: 1)Pyosified (Rotten to the Gore) 2)Unlock the Morgue 3)Festerfeast Sounds: "Festerfeast" Mp3 |

Embolism/Suffocate/Obliterate
Review: This
side just a compilation of songs from these bands already
released Cds. New original songs of only one band would
have been better to match with Haemorrhage masterful side.
Anyway, I'll review the 3 bands quick, they all have
great clear sound, and they're all slovakian... Embolism
is neat brutal death. Suffocate is energic thrashing
death metal. And Obliterate is into death-grind, not
unlike Napalm Death era "Harmony Corruption" (Why
couldn't they pick Napalm Death era "From
Enslavement to Obliteration" instead?!!). Anyway
they're all really awesome brutal death bands. But it's a
must-have piece of vinyl for the Haemorrhage above all
imho.Tracks: 1)Embolism "Deadly results" 2)Suffocate "I have no right" 3)Obliterate "Boundless violence" Label

Haemorrhage
Review: 3
songs from "Grume" played in live session,
recorded in a studio. The sound is very clear. Those are
interesting, tight and kick-ass alternate versions of
Haemorrhage classics, but it will mainly be of interest
to the most die-hard fans. Again, nice cover artwork by
Luisma. And that's about it. Tracks: 1)Exquisite eschatology 2)Decom-posers 3)Excavating the iliac fossa |

Gonkulator
Review: So.
Here's the band mixing harsh Grind-Noise and Black Metal.
They're pretty cool. Really intense and apocalyptic.
Sorry I don't have alot more to say.... Just Chaos and
Harsh Noise! Tracks: 1)Tied and flogged 2)Soldiers in Satan's sadistic army Label Contact: FUDGEWORTHY RECORDS 8 STEVIN DRIVE WOBURN, MASS. 01801 USA |

HAEMORRHAGE/INGROWING Split Ep (Copremesis records/Shindy productions) Release date: 1999 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Haemorrhage
Review: The
latest Haemorrhage release: 3 new studio tracks: 1
totally unreleased song("Putrefaction...") and
2 re-recorded old ones from Emetic Cult album("Anatomized")
and Grume album("Rectovaginal fistula")... Sick
grind-gore at it's finest with killer sound production...
Another wonderful Haemorrhage piece of vinyl! Gory full
colour cover artwork used with permisson of the
Goregallery website! (www.goregallery.com): nine-year old girl assaulted
by a pittbull: 100% pure shocking bloody sickness... Not
recommended to fragile stomachs... The disc itself is
really beautiful too: transparent vinyl and a kind of
spurting red blood all over it!!! Tracks: 1)Putrefaction(I still remind) 2)Anatomized 3)Rectovaginal fistula |

![]() Ingrowing "Creation
of Another Future" Review: The Ingrowing
side is great too! It's straightforwardly played czech
brutal grind/death, in the same vein of something like
Cerebral Turbulency from Czech republic too... Nothing
really original, but something really blasting and catchy...
gruntroaring vocals, corrosive guitars, tight drums...
and a very good sound production. What do you fucking ask
more? There's also a cool colour cover(but the drawing is
quite ugly!). The tracks on this 7"ep will feature
on the upcoming full length Ingrowing album called "Cyberspace"
(to be released by Shindy Productions)... Also includes
an interesting Anal Cunt "Radio hit" cover
version.. Tracks: 1)Sexual inferiority 2)Cyberspace floats through me 3)Radio hit |

(Morbid records) Release date: 1998 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Haemorrhage
"Surgery for the dead" Review: The last Haemorrhage ep; prelude
to "Anatomical inferno" album. This is typical
Haemorrhage sickness: Carcass influenced grind/gore style
with lots of rythmic drums, screamy vox & backing
harmonized snarls... with joyful energic sickening
groove; This ep is highly recommended: quality sound
production, splatter comic cover art drawed by talented
Luisma.. no lyrics sheet, but a great GENERAL SURGERY
cover version of "Slithering maceration of ulcerous
facial tissue" to counterbalance... Ultimate in your
collection. Tracks: 1)Enshrouded in putrilage 2)Surgery for the dead 3)Slithering maceration of ulcerous facial tissue(General surgery) |

![]() Groinchurn "I don't
think so": South african grind... with a bit of death
metal, hardcore and noise; extreme vocals, blasting sound...
And an insane Bee Gees "Stayin' alive" cover
version!!! I like it; you'll like it too. Tracks: 1)Bow to the gimplord 2)I don't think so 3)Stayin' alive(Bee Gees) |

Split Ep (Upground records) Release date: 1998 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Haemorrhage
"The Cadaverous Carnival" Review: 4 tracks in the vein of their
previous cd "Grume". With even more gory and
groovy sound!!! Always into fast grindcore/death style.
Perfect production, artwork and splattering lyrics. This
material was previously used for the promo tape 98, now
you can listen to it... Tracks: 1)The sickening aroma of a rectal carcinoma 2)Cirrhoetic liver distillation 3)Worm-infested cavities 4)Zu atrpatu (Kortatu) |
||
![]() Denak Review: Denak's another
spanish band, into brutal grindcore/crust, with powerful,
extreme vocals and great crusty sound. Lyrics are in
spanish... As well, the last track is a fabulous and
hateful Impetigo cover version. Gotta hear that! Tracks: 1)Siempre yo 2)Generacion ?qué? 3)Sin argumentos 4)Siempre agobiado 5)Boneyard(IMPETIGO) UPGROUND

DENIED Double
Split Ep (Morbid Single Productions - MSP 03) Release date: 1994 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Haemorrhage "Obnoxious"
Review:
Haemorrhage songs on this ep were also used on the album,
"Emetic Cult" in apparent same versions. This
is the third release on Morbid Single Production. The
vinyl is red. This is empathological grindgore at its
best, nothing more to say! It just contains some of the
best Haemorrhage tracks like "Anatomized" &
"Via anal introspection"... It also seems that
the line-up was strangely not including Ana yet... Tracks: 1)Grotesque embryopathology 2)Fermented post-mortem disgorgement 3)Cadaveric metamorphose 4)Anatomized 5)Via anal introspection |
||
![]() Christ Denied "Thy
Horned God" Reviews: Christ Denied is also a
spanish band. With only two members, including Dave
Rotten(Avulsed) on vocals. So I think you can guess
Christ Denied is a brutal death metal band! Artwork and
track titles sound like black metal stuff, but music is
very good; some terrific, heavy and totally fucking
brutal shit! Drums are programmed, but don't sound
electronic, guitars are quite well played, and Dave's
vocals are of course extremely deep and guttural! Finally
it is very catchy and pleasant! But do not expect
something amazingly original; of course. Only one
problems: the little message against the use of vocal
effects! Which is stupid, and inopportune as they share
this split with Haemorrhage, who have bug use of
harmonizer! Well, anyway this release worths being
checked out; unfortunately it is HARD to find! (Thanks
Luisma for sending me this copy!) Tracks: 1)Daethronation (intro) 2)Hierarchy of hipocrisy 3)Christophobia 4)No salvation 5)Overlord |

| HAEMORRHAGE/DAMNABLE
Split Ep Release date: 1997 ![]() Haemorrhage Review: 3 great grind-gore songs from
promo '96 "Scissors, scalpels &..."! Sound
is not great, but sickness is still raging! Extreme
vocals, grinding drums, ravaging guitars...................
Tracks: 1)Decom-poser 2)Malignant cancroid formation 3)Excavating the iliac fossaty |
||
![]() Damnable Review: Damnable is a
Polish band, playing ultra-brutal death metal with loud
and heavy ear blasting sound and mega guttural vocals...
in the early Suffocation vein("Effigy of the
forgotten") or Deeds of Flesh... 2 Impressive songs
of well-played and well-composed intense brutality. Gotta
watch out for Damnable! Tracks: 1)Intro 2)Underworld 3)The myth |
