I'm Dead Review: Let me tell you that's another great Split
Ep here. Both bands are totally excellent. Let's see...
first we have six sick tracks by australian band "Fuck...
I'm Dead" (hysterical band name!) and, that's not
pretty. A quite insane all-out grind-gore massacre!
Stressed out, tight, ultrafast, intense and blasting all
over the place. The stuff is really impeccable. Also
creepy, and demented... with manic scream/gore-growl
vocals and scary grind riffs. I couldn't help but think
of Drogheda and Enemy Soil when listening to that, even
if that's not really it. I guess it's because of the
intensity and the blasting drum machine. It's a first
hear for me, but they're one of my favorites already. The
band is quite new, only one demo out, so it's safe to say
the best has yet to come! Look out for "Fuck... I'm
Dead", coz they rule big time. Tracks: 1)Inject me with AIDS 2)Chainsaw 3)Toilet tantalizers 4)Spray me with fecal matter 5)Licky webster 6)Fuck...I'm dead Sounds: "Inject Me with AIDS" Mp3 Sanity's Dawn Review: Now we have 2 tracks on Sanity's Dawn side. It's still great, heavy gore/grind/death, a bit of Necrony, a bit of Carcass, a bit of Blood, some kind of nauseous gore feeling coursing through it and also an obviously sick sense of humour. The first track is in the vein of their second record, "Mangled in the Meatgrinder" with predominant high vocals and big gore metal sound. The second one I like better, it's more grindy, with awesome brutal gory growls, and more great sounding gore gore goodness. That's 2 solid songs for one of the best Gore bands around. |
