Yes... Enemy Soil is from U.S.A... This ep is
pretty enjoyable...

SOIL side:
- How Enemy Soil
sounds like? On this ep, drums(a drum machine
is used) are ultra fast blast beats, guitars
are making speed trashing noize and vocals
are... huh... vocals are like; hardcore
vocals filled with raging unhappy anger;
Maybe you can describe E.S. as brutal
hardcore/grind... I don't know; Anyway I like
it very much... A real posisitive grinding
band; making me shivering everytime I listen
to it! lyrics will surely stimulate your punx
brains too... this ep is true hard to find
stuff I think, and I get it(hehehe)

side:
 - Basicly, Wadge
is grind... but this ep is very varied; with
crust, hardcore and melodic punk(?)
influences... always with a special filthy
& noisy sound; The lyrics fit so well to
the hateful vocals; rythms varies but are
catchy in all the ways; finally, I like it
very much... but the first song,
"Perpetuate the stereotype" is
really above the others...

"Tales of the exhumed" side:
- After their
wonderful masterpiece album "Gore
metal" out of Relapse records, the
american goriest band returns to vinyl
release with this great split 7"ep with
swedish Retaliation released by italian
label, Headfucker Records... The sound is
powerful, intense and heavy(but still not
perfect, it sounds a little too noisy!)...
Vocals are deep gory growls and moderately
high-pitched raging screams, the brutally
pounding and rolling drums are grinding and
fast... But I hope you already know Exhumed!
Well, this sick death metal with blasting
grind parts, and a huge Carcass influence.
Exhumed is always getting better and sicker
with the time... First song seems to be a
tribute to now defunct band called Gory
Melanoma(?) and the cover is a parody of
"Tales from the crypt"... Funny!
Lyrics are gory and sick matter... Pretty
well-made!

Retaliation on the GRINDWORK 4 way split
mcd(with NASUM, VIVSECTION and C.S.S.O.)?
They were into really great goregrind with
ultrasick vocal effects... Unfortunately they
changed thir style! Well, they are still into
grindcore, but with a rawer vibe, and no
harmonizer for the vox! It still sound
wonderfully intense, fast and incredibly
grinding! Some kind of pulverizing noisy
brutal grindcore. Vocals are rather
high-pitched... The sound production is heavy
and powerful... all the tracks are short,
speeding and catchy... Finally, it's great!
(even if I prefer their previous goregrind
style!) A MCD is planned to be released on
Headfucker Records too, so watch out!
