CABAL/MUCUPURULENT
(Copro duction: Bizarre Leprous Productions/Cho-Jin Records/G.K.P. Records)
Release date: 1998
Cabal Review: Here is a fucking killer band from my area(France; Toulouse)... Blasting, malignant grindgore with the sickest and more splattering vocals ever heard! (work & effects on vox are brilliant and stomach turning!), very well played thrashing guitars(with a little heavy metal touch), crazy drum machine which gives a mechanical and inhuman(e) sound to the whole thing... They are strongly influenced by violent and insane mangas & use some samples from this type of movies in their music... The cover is simply sick with a two-headed deformed child on it! Some interesting, well-written gory & pathological lyrics. So, this is an amazing, fast, gory and fresh band... Moreover their sound's very clear... and they give a vegetarian message(!!!)
Tracks: 1)Necrosymphonic orchestration of a staphylococcic urogenic affection 2)Lymphogranulomatosis 3)Nasocomial nephritic colitis 4)Worm infestation of deliquescent human offal
Mucupurulent "Remind the bizarre"
Review: All the songs are beginning with a traditional intro sample with screaming girls... And then, here are 4 already classic modern (porn)grind songs in the vein of GUT with much more groove and rythm! The songs on this ep are from MUCU's first demo("Bizarre tales from the abnormal"): the sound is rawer than the one on "Sicko babe" cd, and I like it(the rawer sound) far more! But it will not be your case if you prefer clean sound! Anyway, MUCU musical ingredients are there: the thrashy guitars, the groovy drums, the two crazy vocal types(gurgly growls & weirdo screams!)... I like MUCUPURULENT more now I listened to their side on this ep! and I look forward for their new releases!!! Check the artwork with a drawing of two SM women... Cool!

Tracks:
 1)Oral sex masturbation 2)Stainless spoon 3)Votzenkrebs 4)Pussy berserker

CARCASS GRINDER/AGATHOCLES
(R.S. records - RSR 015)
Release date: 1995
Carcass Grinder "CGARCHY"
Review:
These 4 grinders are from Japan; they play harsh grindcore... there is an Agathocles cover ("Lay off me"). And the other tracks sound like Agathocles songs or even sometimes like early SxOxB... With a great noisy sound, demented vocals, fastness and lots of fun! Pretty cool and very extreme!
Tracks: 1)Cgarchy 2)* 3)Lay off me(Agathocles cover) 4)True blue
*can't type this title; language unknown to me
Agathocles "Screenfreak"
Review: 5 ultra catchy Agathocles tracks. Grindcore at its best: 3 pulverizing studio songs of very inspired unreleased pieces of mincecore, and 2 classics of grindcore recorded live in Germany...

Tracks:
1)Another need to be fed 2)Screenfreak 3)Bring down their throne 4)Hideous head chopping 5)Forced pollution

CAUSE FOR EFFECT/ONANIZER
(Machismo Productions)
Release date: 1998
Cause For Effect Review: Groovy grind-death, with a very good powerful sound, tight, pounding drums, and a big rock n' roll feel. The guitar riffs sound very joyful and speedy, technically very well played. There's a perfect between bass and guitar. Cause For Effect's originality reminds me of SCRAWL, except they only use traditional instruments here (drums/guitar/bass). Personally, I find this music very attractive and catchy, it's maybe too much structured (no delirious grind here). It's just really nice grind/rock. Vocals are growls only. Lyrics are always simple social messages. One of the finest thing I heard from Finland for a while!
Tracks: 1)Control mechanism no.1 2)Nuclear waste 3)Free opinion? 4)Shok 5)Activist 6)An insult to human intelligence
Onanizer "Final chaos evokation"
Review: Some more original and weird grind music. A mix of grind/death with quite fast rythms, and some strange parts, bizarre melodies... Vocals are sometimes very twisted, growls and putrid mid-high-pitched screams. It's good stuff with quite good sound. But grind parts are not really memorable... I think it's okay, sounds pretty good.

Tracks:
1)Final chaos evokation 2)Indescribable pictures of presence 3)Please mother no!! 4)Commercial world 5)Restriction of hate 6)Malodorous sexism

CLOTTED SYMMETRIC SEXUAL ORGANS/VIVISECTION
(MMI records - MMI 022) (green vinyl/red and blue cover)
Release date: 1994
C.S.S.O. Review: 3 tracks of grindcore... or may I say, 3 tracks of pure killing psychotic grind! Sound is great, better than on the "Naugro Lauxes VII"cd I think; Always with 2 types of sick vocals, including exceptional gory vocal effects... funny intros and fantastic manga artwork- C.S.S.O. at its best!!!
Tracks:
 1)Putrid cadaver pt.2 2)Zombie fuck 3)Nuclear karate man
Vivisection Review: Vivisection plays great fast and catchy classic grindcore in early Napalm Death/S.O.B. tradition with 2 types of vocals(no effects). We can hear some crusty thrashing hardcore influences too without turning it to soup of course! Vivisection comes from Japan like C.S.S.O.... A great piece of wax!!!

Tracks: 1)Span 2)Progressive remains 3)Grinddead 4)Attempt at murder

CLOTTED SYMMETRIC SEXUAL ORGANS/BLAST OF SILENCE
(GULLI records) (white vinyl/black & white cover)
Release date: 1994
C.S.S.O. Review: 4 classic C.S.S.O. psychotic songs. Funny and original concept on this release: this is a fake live recording!!! Music & vocals are recorded in a studio; and then they added an audience ambience to make it sound like a live gig! funny don't you think? anyway- musically it's a bit messy but still good and grinding...
Tracks: 1)Alkanoïd 2)Itche 3)Putrid cadaver pt.2 3)Zombie fuck
Blast Of Silence "Rebirth of sickness"
Review: German grind- Loud as fuck!!! and fast as hell! well-constructed and beat blasting. With extreme growls and some screams for vocals... so a cool honest grindcore band...

Tracks:
 1)Mindbreak 2)Choice of fate 3)Rotting empire 4)Assholes 5)False government 6)Sick greed 7)World of grey

CRIPPLE BASTARDS "Massacrecore"
(Denied A Custom Records)
Release date: 1997
Review: This is a live ep(and then it only contains live recordings). You maybe know all the songs already if you have heard some of old C.B. releases(especially "Your lies in check" cd/lp), but here are interesting live versions for really amazing songs like "Polizia", "Images of war/images of pain", "Italia di mierda" (among others)... You guess their style is always harsh grind/hardcore. On first side, sound is very good, powerful, and very enjoyable to listen! The second side also worths the listening, but the sound is little weaker and noisy! Anyway this ep worths being checked out! Take a look at this great full colour and blood soaking cover! Nice! CHECK THIS OUT! Just because Cripple Bastards is the indeniably best italian band!

Tracks:
 1)Prospective limitate 2)Sexist society 3)Mass media (Indigesti) 4)Polizia, une razza da estinguere 5)1974 6)Authority? 7)Asti punx 8)Images of war/Images of pain 9)September, 18th 1993 10)Spero venga la guerra(Wretched) 11)Italia di merda 12)Vital dreams

CSMD/GEROGERIGEGEGE Split Ep
(No Fucking Labels/Maxi Noise Sensation)
Release date: 2001
CSMD Review: This nice act from Holland has quite weird, violent and noisy hardcore/grind to offer. You mostly get a totally raw bass sound thrown all over the place, with well-felt obstinate drums, and extremely pissed off and quite absurd vocals. It's quite special, I kinda like it. I don't have many references in the genre, but I'll go with Man is the Bastard and old dirty grind & crust like Asocial or Protes Benct (that I love). I don't know what to add, nice bondage cover, and it's simply crazy noisy 'core... feel free to try it... there's a site there: www.globaldarkness.com/csmd

Tracks:
1)Bzzz 2)Your band reminds me 3)You're a fuckn freak 4)Zombie-flesh cannibal 5)Fur cunt 6)Episch drama 7)Decompressie in je Zweernaad 8)Stoned 9)Everybody is a racist 10)Arseworm love call 11)Being straight edge (is fucking scary) 12)Godzilla freaks out (hoes) 13)Re-built the planet of the apes
Gerogerigegege Review: Weird weird weird. That's what I can say. I think I've seen Gerogerigegege mentionned on flyers or websites a couple times, figured it was noisecore. I'm not sure I'm the best person to review their stuff. Anyway, this one sound pretty conceptual. Basicly it's actual songs by a japanese pop singer (Hiroshi Itsuki, that I didn't know about...) except you don't get to it hear anything after his Las Vegas show intro (funny as hell). The trick is an endless repetition of a few seconds of the track, you hear crowd noise and stuff endlessly repeated. It's trick you can do with vinyls... Ends up being noise after all. But well, I'm not sure I totally get it... Need to get other Gerogerigegege stuffs to make my mind about 'em...

Tracks: 1)Intro 2)Yokohama . Tasogare 3)Viva Summer
